New track up , called " The ice Prince part 2 " hard.

Squeal to the 1st , ending not animated as intended due to wanting to enter the home work challenge but also wanted to get it finished before i started. Fast track again , maybe on the easy end of hard but still can be tricky to get that time needed for a plat or flat out gold. hope you enjoy , feedback always welcomed

hello guys , looking for some feedback on the track above , Charmed forest. Unsure of the reason for its failure as i personelly had a great time playing it , viper and roach. Maybe i am missing something , would appreciate anyone who as played it for any information.

Since you asked for it I'll try to criticize Charmed forest.

The theme and decor are on point, nothing wrong with them.
However the driving line is a bit of a mess. It lacks flow, I got a few faults on my first runs and I didn't feel like it was my fault but the track being a bit unclear where I should go next. I think there is a simple case of you knowing the track inside out and only testing the track when you already know all about it.
For example in the 1st jump you can't see the log you are supposed to reach before you are actually already midair. Similarly right after the 1st checkpoint you need to make a good jump in order to reach the next platform, especially when the platform appears to be easy to reach at first but then it raises up a bit and you fail to reach it because the driving line was too dark for you to clearly see that there is a small bump in the ramp before the jump. None of these appeared as an issue to you because you already knew they were there from the start.

Other than that it was a track of your usual quality. If you fix those things I mentioned it will be a very good track.
    I hope it helps.

    hi LzZzr

The log issue at the start makes perfect sense now you mention it , i did think that maybe after a first few trial runs it would be known to the rider which was an intention to give it more of a challenge , it was lower on the original as it did start out as an easy track lol. Your right though it does make things much smoother to actually see what your landing on. Also agree with the next landing , it does need to be more lit and i noticed this last night when playing it again after a few days break from it. I do test it very regular from start to end of build and on a speedrun i tend to put the ceckpoints in last so i usually test it every time on a full run before i test for checkpoint spot but there is still chance of being use to it and already knowing the dl.

Im very impatient lol , i know i should wait longer and get testers as proofing your own track i find not an accurate procedure but as i finish one track i get so many ideas about another i just want to begin another build ha ha ha. I should give far more of my time to one track instead of making many , allowing for mistakes to reveal them selfs on me and see things i dont initially see. When its run its course on track central i will adopt your points and also aid or change a few other bad things within the track and give it another run. As much as love making other tracks i also like to improve ones i already have built and help likes yours is a valuable tool to improve my building and improve the quality of tracks i produce. I very much appreciate you taking your time to help with some feedback and pointers.

    Thank you bud

Enjoyed your Christmas entry funk. I was not the biggest fan of the default drive line but the ending was great.

Yeah the dl was an experimental one and had a few things i see i could have done better, but as it happens i have been pointed to a person called Mr Frecker or something who did those sort of dls amazingly on evo. I watched them on you tube last night, very insane. My ending was the main point about the track as that was the challenge and point to the competition

I guess drivelines are very hard to master but i would much prefer being decent in a wide range of dls than just to be awesome at one. I am yet to tackle extreme dls , all though i have made one and wasnt so bad i guess

He has made some great tracks. Best thing about it when I found out he didn't use teleports for the effect.

I am still wondering how he got that depth look , was there different useable drivelines in evo , or did e just use fov on the camera and switch? but im sure everything else stayed the same size.

I also used the ceckpoints on my track , altough unless you use some area effector the bike looses its motion and appears static.
