@Matts
Thank you bud really appreciate your nice comments and time you take to play them. Mean alot dude
@CSS93
No offence taken bud , i understand yours coming from only a speed runner point of view. To be honest i have always made tracks that challenge me , push what i know even further. I could bang a track together within a few hours. Concentrate on no distractions , concentrate on a perfect quick dl and smooth line and it would be a great track for a speed runner , unfortunately this would bore the pants off me haha. The essence of building for me , is not to follow every rule on the leader boards appeal but to actually play the game. Too many builders i find are to worried about what or what should they not do and forget the true essence of what were are doing here.
Were playing with a massive virtual box of lego and lego doesnt come with instructions on what or how you should build. I build what is in " my mind " and i enjoy every last minute of it. Of course i like people to like my creations but its not the main goal. My main goal is to have fun and i find my dls , my animations and things i do in a track pretty awesome lol. I guess in a nut shell this is what people mean by saying build for your self. In fairness my tracks usually do well , so i must be doing something right. A vast majority of builders have been creating since evolution and hd. I find the variety and quality i offer in my tracks to be very good having not being building all that long
I would appreciate maybe some more feedback dude on why you dont think they ride so well ? maybe it could help me even futher
Just tried to explain why i do what i do alittle , hope you take it in the good way it was intended bud

The ride has to be smooth! (Please) Also no obstacles that force you to go slow to pass them which happens in SOME of ur tracks.

I totally disagree , a speed run does not mean you have to squash the R2 button into the never world lol , all this does is aid you in your likes because young kids can pass your track and also gives an excuse for builders to put a track which is medium or even easy into the hard cat because of the way in which tracks quickly dissapear in the others. You can have a speed run were timing is still important and gas crontrol is important. A speedrun is not just a track thats almost level or as a slow incline and just little notch here of there. Sometimes you can even speed run a tech line if you add little continuous ramps here and there or things . Where ever you have been informed that needing control of the r2 button on a speedrun is wrong , then i think that is wrong advice to be given. In fact having to release the R2 button can be the difference between getting plat or just silver. Which is how i incorporate them into my speed runs. You never have to slow down , just try releasing r2 a little before , its there to be used lol
Camp tropic is an hold your r2 button down line , it was almost an easy track but had too many fault areas to be one. Which is not something i 99 percent of the time aim for but in on this track i did and it infact can be completed by simply holding down the r2 button , but this will not get you a great time. Its a true fact i dont find making a line that is simply at one constant speed , this to me is no challenge and find that almost any builder can build and even build by mistake or stumble upon a fast line. Being forced to slow and by going slow i just mean releasing the r2 button once in a while does no harm in a line and infact adds challenge and motivation for repeat play. On most of my tracks you wont get the best possible time you can with one run. I guess its about preference and what level you put your track into. I dont usually create a track that is just simply passable , especially in the hard cat. You see too many tracks favoured just because they player as completed them which is not why i build or what enjoyment i get out of building. have you people say , " when i found the line " meaning they have found when to bunny hop , when to lean forward and when to release gas and so forth. It is not enjoyable to ride a track , hold r2 down and bam you have plat on your first run.
There is many ways of building , custom cameras , tech lines , speed runs , tracks which can also just be enjoyed on an entertaining level. Take it from a builder who as created many tracks , you need variety and a variety of skills to be a great builder. experiment wit your own builds once in a while and it will most deffo strengthen you and your knowledge as a builder. Maybe you will take some of this and add it to your builds. Variation and challenge is key to progression of a builder , this is only my view mind many have different ones.
cheers for the chat bud , theres no malice in my reply bud or any bad meaning dude ( just wanted to add that as i am sometimes taken incorectly ) my grammer is pants.

I'm sorry when I meant slow down I meant stop completely like in the last obstacle of your new track (the track still looks cool)

Thats the whole intention of that obstacle bud , its to slow the decent or even stop. this is fine to do especially in an extreme track , placement of the obstacle could have been placed earlier but still , for me it is a sweet treat of a quick easy end of an extreme.
thanx again for your feedback on my tracks
