As some of you may know, there's a way to climb past the Royal Fortress along the mountain ridge east of it that takes you to the road to the palace. I only found it once Pagan was dead; and now I wonder if anyone has tried that before taking the fortress. Is it possible, or "out of boundaries"; and will Pagan be home?
Can you make a video of it? As I am planning to start the game all over again. Thanks!Originally Posted by hrhalfreal Go to original post![]()
I don't see a way to do that directly on the console; but I'll see what my camera can do. It's actually really easy once you know where to start off :-) .Originally Posted by Prince_Of_Persia Go to original post
Yeah, video won't work; sorry. But you can find it anyway.
Just South of the Royal Fortress is a valley / open space that borders in the South - north of the road - a narrow, steep mountain ridge going up eastward (at first; then it bends north). Land the buzzer on that ridge. (You can even get there on foot; but that takes a detour from the crossroads all the way through the valley.) Follow the ridge as far as it takes you. When you hit blank rock, turn left. You'll slide down quite a way; that's okay. Just move along the wall as high up as the terrain allows. After a while, you get to a small, roundish ridge / bump going up to the right, with two small grassy patches that you can reach with moderately challenging jumps. From the top of that bump, turn left and follow the grass. After just a few meters, you'll see the road to the palace (and the fortress).
I doubt there is a point to that before you take the fortress (or after, for that matter). But you never know :-) . Good luck!
