Uplay wont connect to service FC4

    Operating System: win 7 64
    CPU: Intel core i7 3770K 3.5ghz
    GPU:2x XFX AMD 6870HD
    RAM: 16gb ddr3
Connection Speed: 6ms ping 12.80Mbps down 0.85Mbps up
    Connection Type: Wired
    Controller Connected: No

    Logs emailed to uplaycommunity@ubisoft.com: YES

Bought FC4 on steam, Uplay wont connect to service. Tried disabling proxy in networking tab in uplay settings restarting the client and no luck. re enabled proxy in the same network tab in the uplay client and no luck still.
What's going on? I tried disabling my virus software Kaspersky and then running the software, that didnt help either. Assistance would be appreciated before im forced to ask for a refund on steam because this is frustrating and not what I signed up for upon purchasing the software. Cant we just get rid of uplay already?

Have you tried the troubleshooting listed in this thread? This link directly links to connection troubleshooting, but I recommend always checking the stickied threads first.

    Connection Issues

    Hi all,

    Im having the issues where it is not connecting, getting;

    ERROR
"The Far cry 4 service is not available. Please try again later."

It used to connect fine 2 weeks ago and I could log in, play co-op etc but when the UBI servers went down around a week ago (June 2015) I have not been able to connect since.

I have forwarded all ports in the router, reset my winsock connection, uninstalled Far Cry and reinstalled. Not sure where to turn!!!

    Hope you can advise,

    Cheers,

    Ben
