    That is a pretty clever video. The long stretches of absolutely nothing where the Ghosts were just wandering from fight to fight (as he mentions that dang staircase) opening doors, climbing over stuff, etc., served three purposes...
    1.) Drag the game out so it felt longer.
    2.) Allowed pointless and annoying exposition to be spouted between the Ghosts for "story" purposes.
    3.) Gave them a reason to use those mo-cap'd SEAL animations.

    Interesting that he mentions the COD connection with the VA but not the obvious "Hunter" and "Overlord" callsigns ripped straight from MW2; not to mention the near identical tourist-video-showing-a-WMD-attack-on-London cut scene between MW3 and FS. Ugh, even seeing video footage of Future Soldier just irritates me. FS was a god awful, derivative, me-too third person cover based shooter made for 2012 and only 2012...it's just so dated in nearly every freakin' way from its overuse of cliche modern military shooter conventions to its annoying dubstep-ish soundtrack.

    OH CRAP! THE BODARK ARE ATTACKING! WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB! GO INTO A DIAMOND FORMATION TO PROTECT THE VIP WITH INFINITE AMMO WHILE WALKING OUT INTO THE OPEN AS A MILLION DUDES AND A HIND HELICOPTER SHOOT AT US!! WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB!

    You see Future Soldier, Ubisoft? You see it? Yeah, don't do that ever again.

    This time, the reception to Wildlands has been positive - tempered with the understandable hesitation and caution that a lot of fans have - and there doesn't need to be major direction shift to produce a Ghost Recon game. All the potential is there, and it should all be choices from now on, not rework.

    I was okay with you guys taking away thermal it was Op and that's cool. I was okay for you guys taking away the Recon drones and the ability to see them once again okay. But when you put me in a Timeout for joining my friends game for 3 hours you just lost a customer.
