All we have to go on is the past. Look at GR:FS. What makes you think Ubisoft will keep up support? The last update/support came 4 months after release. That is completely unacceptable. Then they have the audacity to beg people for $100 for "platinum package" (or what ever they call it)?

I am continuously amazed at what Rockstar does for the GTAV community. Free updates after free updates. I understand the need to make money, but how about, after a DLC has been released for 6 months, it is then given away for free? Look at what the DLC did to the GR:FS community!

We have been saying this for years when the game started talking a cut on players I wish they had let everybody have the DLC's for free if you already had the game and a smaller price for newer purchases or something. However I can say this just about every Friday night for the last year we have had what we called DLC night and invited anybody and everybody to play DLC maps trying to make it more popular and draw more people in and it has worked some. Actually my last upload to my YouTube channel was of a match played last Friday and played on Palace one of my favorite maps amongst others.

I didn't buy premium for Hardline either although I did for BF4.

The biggest problem with DLC is the way it splits the community with separate playlists. You end up with the DLC playlists getting into a rapidly declining circle of smaller player numbers that accelerate towards zero. I bet on any one night on GRFS there are dozens of players that try DLC rooms see it empty and leave, and many more that would try if they thought it was worth it.

Why not provide a DLC playlist with all the maps and give every player with enough play time 5 free goes on each DLC map. Then just warn players still without DLC that when a DLC map comes up they'll get booted on launch. That keeps it alive for players that have paid AND provides an incentive for those that haven't.

Dang BlueFox I like your thinking man! That sounds like something they should seriously consider.

I don't mind paying for a game and DLC's as long as I get to play them as you started previously make it worth my Value to purchase them buy making sure theres enough backing for me to get to play them or make it cheaper so more people will purchase them.

Why are you getting so rustled over his posts? He's just reminding us about what to expect from interacting with the development. Bumping recent threads isn't necessary either, they'll do that by themselves.

He is a troll throwing profanities at forum staff, slinging unwarranted insults at forum members and burying good threads / good discussions that frankly, I doubt many want to have to go looking for again so I bumped them back up past all the toxicity as a favor to the rest of us.

If I really need to explain that to you then it really isn't worth explaining now is it? Makes me wonder why you're busting my balls for getting "rustled" over someone tossing insults and profanities instead of the other way around. ....but I think we can cut through the BS and just leave it right there.

Strange how he didn't necro bump the threads about PC graphics support, the expected downgrade, keyboard and mouse support, custom HuD settings, no hardcore difficulty levels, how there would be no change to chopper controls, there wouldn't be an open beta, there wouldn't be PvP and my favourite; he cites the poster who claimed support would be dropped after two months when we've had updates practically every month.

Bumping recent threads absolutely was necessary, the troll had wiped out the entire first page, when he could have just started a new thread to consolidate his argument into something coherent. The feedback process is over a long term, and most of the frustration is on issues that were designed in early. What on earth you hope to gain by supporting attempts to derail feedback is beyond me.

Blue, you couldn't let it die, nah, had to give it one last poke and retreat like a hero huh. Lets talk about mouse and keyboard support for the flying and driving. Also, for the transition between TPV & ADS, and if you call Hardcore giving the enemy AI God Mode while giving your character a weak body then yes, we did have a hardcore mode. And yes, they did change the chopper controls to something simpler but avoiding multiple sams with big bird is a chore instead of a fun practice but Hooray for the Devs and their 3 hours of effort on the gameplay and mechanics.

And now, as always happens... here come the CMs to close the thread for good because of the so called toxicity. Bravo Blue, you won yet again and the Devs are saved... Bravo!!!

I responded 2 days ago when this guy was bumping threads everywhere and acting like a spoiled child in a fit of rage. The first page was full of his rants at the time I responded.

I wasn't the using the "F" word at community staff, lashing out at forum members or trolling the boards. He even directed his angst at me (unwarranted I might add) in a thread so yeah, I retorted. ....and that makes me the bad guy?

....and let's get the record straight here. I was happy to leave this crap buried. I wasn't the one who bumped it back up.
