The trailer looked great and all but I'm really only interested in this game if multiplayer returns to its roots instead of a knock off of other shooters. Was there any mention of the direction they are going in? I understand there's a NDA and details probably can't be discussed but how worried should fans of the older games be?
If they bring back the ability to customize the game mode with options such as Blind Siege and LMS then I'll take this game seriously but I'm not getting my hopes up until then.
We have no info for the multiplayer part cause it wasn't showed to us, the game is still in developpement.
Devs asked us questions about what we would like to see in it and give ideas for game modes etc.. but we are not allowed to talk about it.
I'd like to asure you that we were both console and pc player representing our communities and many have been talked about.
The devs took many but many notes !!!
I am with you my man. i am not taking any chances unless the game modes are back to the good old days..Ghost Recon - GRAW 2. i played clan matches with LMS. by far the best game mode and siege.Originally Posted by MultiOnly Go to original post
Like Ulukai, I'm under the same NDA. We talked with the developers about multiplayer options, but beyond that I can't say much. I've been thinking of different multiplayer modes they could implement since they first explained the core concept of the game to us, but who knows what they'll end up implementing.
I'm fairly sure the core focus is on the main 4-person tactical open world drop-in/out cooperative play right now. It's a good blend of things they've got going on over at the studio, and I'm really excited to see as much of this game as I possibly can, so I can try and get them to let me share it with all of you!
I disagree completely. The reason I fell in love with the previous games was the competitive multiplayer. Unless the multiplayer gameplay makes somewhat of a return to what it was prior to the disaster that was Future Soldier I personally won't be buying the game. The most amazing single player/co-op campaign in the history of gaming wouldn't change that fact.Originally Posted by Pavelow1199 Go to original post
Hey tafedude, you've posted this into multiple threads now. There's no need for that. We're aware of your suggestions now, and they have already been communicated to the development team.
In the future, please refrain from posting the same question/suggestion into multiple threads. It just kinda clogs up the forums. You're obviously very passionate about making sure the game has correct networking, but please contain your enthusiasm on a topic to one thread at a time.
Cheers,
Devs, please consider taking gameplay feedback from the community. There were a lot of things in GRFS which really made the experience lower than it could have been. For me these things had to do mostly with gameplay mechanics, weapon balancing. Many others have been vocal about networking and other issues. Please give us a chance to mold the game and we will reward you. If not the average player, consider taking some feedback from the high level Ghost Recon Phantom players. Thank you.
Awesome to hear that, was the feedback they requested all about co-op or did they ask for competitive multiplayer?Originally Posted by Cortexian0 Go to original post
