Glad to hear you're having a blast with the game! Right now I don't know of any current plans to bring back past challenges, but I'm more than happy to have this mentioned for you.Originally Posted by TakerDeep14 Go to original post
I can confirm that it's not just you experiencing this, xDubba. This is something we've had shared along to the team in order for it to be investigated.Originally Posted by xDubba Go to original post
To the DEV'S
While tier-1 was QUITE A BIT of a grind with well slightly underwhelming rewards, most of us that love this game played it for the sheer challenge of getting to rank 1 .......what we would really like is to carry forward all our weapons, gear & our character and start a completely fresh game (choice of any difficulty).....
To play the entire story again with fully upgraded weapons would allow us to use & experiment with different tactics at leisure which i think is what most of the community is waiting for apart from PVP..
Also if the AI were to be tinkered with in terms of giving adversaries situational awareness and counter-attacking skills (rushing towards the player every time makes it extremely predictable), would make this game truly tactical...facing off against enemies that use flash / smoke grenades or have NV equipment, lay mines/traps etc will really take tactical play to another level....currently in solo mode you really don't need to use your squad commands etc for true military tactical play other than sync shots....
Keep up the good work and hope to see many such progressive TPS titles from the ghost recon franchise.
Hello, I need someone to clarify this up. I love this damn game, like it's one of my timeless games of all time, and I'm playing on PS4 currently.
I'm planning to get it on Steam some time in the future. My question is: can I take my existing Task Force to the PC version of the game and get what I've unlocked through Season Challenges?
Also, will my in-game Store purchases be carried over to the PC version of the game?
Thanks
Hey Ubisoft if You guys could possibly incorporate dragging bodies, then that'd be excellent! I just hate going through a mission almost perfectly with the perfect takedowns undetected long range shots and moving forward undetected just to start being hunted by an enemy because they saw a dead body from earlier. Also, a set of wire cutters would be nice! I only say this because it seems silly that you play as an elite 4-man ghost squad taking down a cartel, but you can't cut through a wire fence. So maybe you could make that into a skill that takes your normal supplies and skill points! BUT FIRST: please make the pvp beta your NUMBER ONE priority! As always, I appreciate all that you guys do and put up with from some of the more impatient players! I know it'll turn out great in the end!
Hello,
I've an issue with the public matchmaking. In the last 36 hours I haven't been able too join any game due to an error "Yacuida". Unfortunately I can't upload a screen shot due to the fact that I'm on PS4. Secondly, I encountered an other issue with the gameplay. When using the "strands" ghillie suit the color wouldn't change despite selecting desert, brown or black and stay green. The issue concerns only this ghillie strangely. Hope you can fix this.
Purpose of SAMs
Im curious what was the main reason for adding SAMs into the game (really, I'm not sarcastic or salty). For me they look a little bit out of place, like something what was a greater idea before, but in development was reduced to what we have now.
Why do I think that way? Well, because you can't really play around them, since there aren't game mechanics to do so.
You can't avoid them, because you can't see them while flying, either in game (due to limited draw distance, even on ultra settings), either on your mini map. Destroying them also isn't proper answer, since they respawn too fast (like in Condor Base in San Mateo). Most reliable way to deal with them seem to be... memerize their location and don't get close. Sadly, it doesn't work in 100%, since some rebel missions force you to land near of them. The only option in that case is to avoid missiles, which is pretty frustrating and annoying. Flying controls are clunky and unresponsive (especially planes), which makes things even harder.
At first I was thinking, that they might be simply a way to increase difficulty level in some provinces (mostly those later in the game). Yet they are certainly not, since their presence (or amount), doesn't seem to be retaleted to region's difficulty rating. Some 3 stars provinces have couple of them, while some 4's and 5's doesn't have even one (or I never spotted them there).
So can you help me with this Ubisoft? Why have you limited use of aircraft in some regions to that extent (which is pretty annoying), while in others, we can fly where we want and noone bothers us? What's the pattern there?
Besidse them (SAMs) I really love the game! Keep up good work.
Yeah, the SAM mechanics are one of those things that feel a bit too "gamey" rather than strictly authentic in the way they work, but the result is kind of authentic. In a real world Operation Kingslayer, you would have to work out where the safe air routes are. I think you would not be free to fly anywhere and would have to be aware of where you simply can not fly or what alleyways exist through the defences to get by.
There is a rebel landing strip in Media Luna that has 3 SAM sites around it which is an example of this. It took me a while to find the best route through to it, but satisfying when I did. The game is deliberately making some areas difficult or impossible to fly in.
I would like to bump my question again hoping that it will get an answer.Originally Posted by Kane_sg Go to original post
Let me rephrase my questions.
Can I use the current Task Force I created for PS4 version in the PC version?
If yes, will I unlock the Task Force Season Challenge rewards I unlocked earlier?
Will my purchase at the in-game Store be available in PC version as well? Considering it's a Uplay server wise rather than PSN.
Thanks.
