It certainly is a nice touch and will add to the tactical side of things, i hope it actually has an effect on the AI and the world.Originally Posted by HitMan00 Go to original post
I wonder what happens with the vehicles if you leave them behind.
Will they spawn at a close distance or should we walk back to the place where we left it ?
And what if you jump out of a helicopter in the middle of the desert how can we get a vehicle ?
It would be nice if a transport plane would drop a buggy if you request one (at a certain range of course, so the enemy won't notice it)![]()
Hi, I am very hyped about Wildlands, but I have a few concerns about the game.
My first and biggest concern, will the game be challenging?
It will completely ruin the game there is absolute no challenge at all. If you have a group of experienced players, how will you make it hard? I want it to be a game where the players must actually make a plan on how they are going to do the mission, and not just go in sprayin' and prayin' (unless that's your plan of course) and finish the mission easily.
How will the enemy AI's act? What kind of strategies do they have? Will they "read" the players tactics and act upon thart?
Will vehicles have fuel? Will we need to plan our journey (Gas and such)
Another concern that I have is that we won't be able to bring multiple guns/vehicles with us.
I think that we should be able to put good guns and ammo in our cars, so we can bring them around. I also hope that we can load up vehicles in other cars. It would be cool to be able to load up motorcycles and other small vehicles and bring them wherever we need it.
A cool thing that I would like to have is a base building-ish thing. It doesn't exactly have to be a way for players to build a custom base, but at least have a place where we can store guns/vehicles.
Thank you![]()
When we played the was challenging "but it still is in alpha stage !" IA can still be improved.
For the missions, you choose the way you want to do it, like in the E3 trailer it's just like that !
Can't tell right now for the IA behavior.
No fuel for vehicule, this game is not arma or other military sim. Ubi want to go for realism but too much realism can be boring for players.
Planning : no real information for the moment, we have mission located on the map and when discovering the map new missions appears and we can loot intels in camps that gives secondary missions. But as I said in the vidéo destroyinf a radio camp can affect the others camp making them unable to call for reinforcement !
For your gear I can't say much but you have a primary weapon, secondary weapon, a gadget and grenades. Don't worry no weird futuristic gadget !
You can drive a buggy and your friend driving on you side with motocycles or piloting a helicopter.
The last one can't talk but there won't be base build ! Don't foget ghost are sent incognito.
Now remember there many things we can't talk about because of NDA but everything will be said in due time![]()
From what I've seen and heard... in online Multiplayer, you have just 5 teammates, including yourself, in this HUGE world. You're a small speck of a Squad, on a BIG map. Imagine ARMA III... with only 5 guys on your team. Well... that's close. Wildlands will have pretty BIG maps. How big... time will tell. Bigger than Battlefield 4 maps would be nice. To big... and you get lost. ARMA III size maps... would be ridiculous.Originally Posted by GRAW2ROBZ Go to original post
And that's the problem. with only 5 teammates... in this colossally big world... against who knows how many enemies. That still looks a little sketchy at this point. If that's true... no medium or large size Clans will touch this game. It's just to small and limited for any real competition with no more than 4 of your friends.
Better would be 16 vs 16 players. And no larger than 24 vs 24 for exciting Private Clan Wars, competitions and tournaments. Complete Clan Support is a must. Private Rented User/Admin Controlled Custom Servers is an absolute must... like we had in Battlefield 3. A complete custom Squad system, again like in BF3 (NOT LIKE BF4's SQUAD SYSTEM!!!). Also a custom mic communication system for Squad and TEAM chat use, like we had in BF3. Anything less... is not workable for larger organized groups of friends to play and enjoy.
So much more to say... so little time to say it. But with the opinions and suggestions that have been made thus far in this forum, with more to come... UbiSoft knows what needs to be done... to make Wildlands a keeper and be played for years by their customers. Wildlands huge sales competition will be Battlefield 5 in 2016. And that will be a high goal to reach for. One game will win... one will lose.
I'm probably only going to buy Battlefield 5... or Ghost Recon Wildlands... not both. Or I'll buy the other one used, after I'm tired of the first one. And that could be many months... or years later.
UbiSoft's Rainbow6 Siege has become such a mess... so now I'm waiting for GR Wildlands to hit a home run! Time will tell.
