No idea on your first question about cutscenes unfortunately...Originally Posted by henrikcomn Go to original post
As for the second question, the world is NOT scripted. It's a systemic/dynamic world that keeps on running and changes based on the decisions you make and actions you take. In your example, had the Ghosts not shown up, I believe the AI would of eventually finished loading the truck and it would of drove off. In the first trailer, they literally filmed the same mission a few different times, basically imagine them going back to a quicksave after each type of playstyle and trying it again a different way. The player doesn't trigger a specific type of encounter like "stealth". They simply make a stealthy approach, recon, and plan execution.
Also, I'm not confirming that quicksaving is a thing. That was just an example.

A question regarding whether GR Wildlands is going to be an open-world free-roam PvE (kind of like a MMO):
I was also wondering this, as I was all excited for GR Wildlands! Then my friend says, it is not an open-world free-roam PvE (or PvP) game environment and it has instances like it The Division. I was then quite disappointed. New York is a lonely place, even with a full co-op team of 4 in The Division, and now I imagine this game would now be then same, but with an even bigger map in Bolivia!![]()
Your friend is wrong. Ghost Recon Wildlands is going to be an open-world free-roam game. All we've seen so far is PvE modes, nothing on PvP. Everything in the free-roam open-world mode will be playable solo offline (in which 3 AI will take the spot of your 4-man team), or playable online cooperatively with up to three additional friends.Originally Posted by AceGreg Go to original post
Thank you for answering, but I think you misunderstood the question, but you did answer it for me inadvertently. So there will be no option to replace the 3 AI team mates in the general free-roam area of the entire map? As in, you cannot have your player party running around with you the entire time?Originally Posted by Cortexian Go to original post
For example:
In The Division PvE environment, you can group up with up to 4 players who can run around New York together.
Can you group on free-roam the whole map in GR Wildlands?
In The Division PvE environment, whilst you are in your group or not, you cannot see any other players (outside of safe rooms).
Can you see other players in free-roam in GR Wildlands?
Yeah I may have misunderstood.Originally Posted by AceGreg Go to original post
In Wildlands you will always have a team of four Ghosts operating together. You will take on the persona of one of these Ghosts. That leaves three more Ghosts.
When playing by yourself without other real people, these three Ghosts will be AI controlled team members. When playing with other real people, they will "replace" one of the AI Ghosts as needed.
If you're playing with two real people, there will still be two AI Ghosts accompanying you. Three real people, one AI Ghost, etc.
Ubisoft hasn't released anything about if you'll be about to run across other players outside of your group or not. I would assume that the only players you'll see are ones in your group though. This is just an assumption on my part based on what I know about the cooperative multiplayer mode so far though.
Does that answer your question(s)?
Which is a lot of work, especially after all E3 stuffOriginally Posted by UbiKeeba Go to original post
