I wonder how the lock system works.
The articles show the L2 button (holding) is mapped to Guard Mode. How do I switch between enemies if I'm surrounded?
Does the lock switch automatically to the closest enemy? Do I have to release L2 then hold it again?

Good point. This doesn't have a concrete answer yet though.

i think the target lock swaps when u change the enemy in front of you (or i hope so)
anyway i'm worried about pc players...how will we change stance ?

I hope in the finished game won't be any arrows showing "hey player, block in this direction".
And one, i think, horribly important thing. There must be a possibility of blocking (and eventually parrying) counterattacks. If something can make charakter defenceless it should be player's mistake.

    Well I hope not :/
The game is so heavily decision and action focused, it wouldn't be ideal imo. I would need 100% of my actions to be my decisions alone. An automatic swap would take that away from me: an enemy is rushing through between me and the enemy I'm dueling with, I don't want the lock to switch without me wanting that ^^

Still no information on that. I've been thinking about it though, the direction of the block could be the movement of the mouse? They know they need it to be perfect, so I'm pretty sure they're going to test any possibility ^^
Or PC players can still use a 360 controller! (troll)

Some of us will no doubt master this game using our own tactics outside the direct control of the Dev team... It will be fun to watch the combat evolve

Oww yeah. And counter the counter of counters counter. Chain until one of the contestants gets dementia I think it works nice as it is Just orochi's and berserkers parry block shouldn't be so rewarding. How many players did win battles just by blocking and light hitting once over and over.
