Out of the three platforms (XBox One, PS4, PC with all the bells and whistles), the XBox One has the weakest hardware of the three. It's only natural that the game will not look as good on an XBox One as it will on the PS4 and Gaming PC. I thought it looked fine, but as with all things, its subjective.

    It is what it is.

Ubisoft is FAR from being the only developer that has issues with 'downgrades' in graphic fidelity, whether real or perceived.

    I'm going by the demo.

No, it was not a downgrade.

The time of day and the weather blocked the sun, made everything seem grey and duller.

    That's it.

The draw distance, physics, textures, animations, particle effects, lighting, AO, environment quality, lens flares, bloom, are all the same

I believe people just jump to some conclusions when they see something different than the other 2 trailers

How anyone can call this bad looking is beyond my comprehension.

Was it confirmed to be on Xbox One? Just because it was during the microsoft presentation doesn't mean it was on Xbox One.

Also remember that PC can be played with an xbox controller.

I wonder if they would be willing to compile a quick 1 minute long video jabbing at downgrade-minded people. A quick video showing off how the game looks just as good now as it did before. They'd certainly be the first dev to ever do that and would certainly get some laughs from me!

....sigh, look after 4 to 5 straight years of ubi pulling the same thing how are you either A. surprised or B. in denial?

at this point I am ok with downgrades because i wait until after the Game Release to make my decision.

Gameplay is key and its what last for years...graphics normally realistic style of graphics dont age well within a few years anyways

I think what made it perceived as a bit worse than what we've seen were the little 3 second cinematic's spliced in between the gameplay for dramatic effect.
Correct me if i'm wrong but is this the first time we have seen mini cut scene cinematic's like that?
I really hope they are not in the final release, kind of pulls you out of the game.

It is just the way they edited the video, don't worry about it
