Still unsure if its a DLC or standalone, but looks like its leaning more towards a DLC...now the question is...is it included with the Season Pass? I mean the whole reason this announcement is skeptical, because its a HUUUGE overhaul to the entire game. Like a "too good to be true" type of thing.

I doubt it. They already added these cars to the season pass. I'd doubt they would add anything else.

i am curious about this as well. i would be extremely proud if ubisoft included it in the season pass. they really made me excited with the wild run. a complete graphical improvement aswell as motorbikes and new specs.this is exactly what players have been asking about

from the trailer it looks like a paid expansion... also its one year after the main game, so season is probably over for the season pass... and I would say it will come with its own season pass... but I still hope I'm wrong this game is still full of bugs and problems, we deserve fixes, not paid expansion...

Nope, I'd say by that time the season is over. We're lucky that it even got extended for a longer period, but I'm sure that extensions runs out just before the release of this expansion.

but it's a good hint that everything until expansion could be included in current season pass, better this than nothing...

I doubt that... my guess is that expansion will be priced approximately as a season pass (because expansion is smaller than main game, I wouldn't pay the same money for it) and it will come with a second season pass which will include next year DLCs

I'm seeing this as a second Season Pass. And I'm thinking it would be priced like a Season Pass. Hope it won't get past the $25-$30 mark because that would be kind of unfair.

Also I'm hoping that until the launch day arrives they WILL fix the actual bugs in the game and will make the game to work properly.

In this expansion pack will be new races, new cars, new championship (something to replace the Faction War, or to go hand in hand with it). The map mostly has to remain the same. These are the same United States so the map kinda has to stay the same.

If this comes as a standalone, that means it's a different game and will be priced accordingly. But if it comes as a huge DLC, then everyone will benefit from it because the game engine, I think, remains the same. It will probably get enhanced with various tweaks so that we could see the smoke from the drift cars and the fire from the dragsters, and also could receive a good new textures pack. It has to have a better graphics card optimization and probably will make more use of the PhysX engine from NVidia.

If this is an expansion and will be distributed as a DLC, that means that the PC Technical Parameters will have to remain the same, which means they will have to optimize everything in the Graphics area so that this game looks bonkers.

Or, what if the expansion includes all previous DLC's since launch and people who already had bought a season pass get a discount on the upgrade... Dunno, just brainstorming here!

Hi EbilJackal, you’ll need the original game to play The Crew Wild Run as the expansion increases the content of
the base game. In other words, it's not a DLC nor a standalone, it is an expansion.
No info on Season Pass for the expansion just yet.
