This means that the builders were selected a long time ago. We've said again and again on every platform possible that game development is not something that happens overnight. If the date for the ALM launch is one month away, that really means that the content has been locked down for a while now.

There wasn't any annoucement for any kind of contest because there wasn't one, builders were picked and that's it. But I will say that on this forum we've had the same "who do you build for?" discussion ten times over. Some people enjoy building for themselves, some do it for other reasons and no one can say what's the right or wrong way as long as you enjoy it.

If there was no contest or whatever, how did you picked those User made tracks?
They uploaded it and never went online? i mean.....confusing.
If i build a track, and i share it...i would wonder where my track went.....unless i know about it....am i right?
Wich means that all tracks from the community are informed about this........exacly.

so the season pass was for 6 DLC's, howmuch wil this DLC cost?

I can't believe you actually ride a Unicorn in this game, it makes no sense.

I saw in the preview stream today that some objects were used from the past 6 DLCs in these tracks. Will this Expansion Pack offer a short of "pass" for those who didn't purchase the last 6 DLCs, to be able to play maps that have Season One DLC? For example, would they be able to play UGC that has the little DLC symbol by just buying this Expansion Pack?

If the answer is yes, I must say that is a great edition to the game. It will definitely bring more people back who didn't purchase the Season Pass.

Some mix comments we got here. I'm guessing that 30 challenges means 10 tracks, right? That's great and all, but I hope it's not like 10 bucks. I understand that the Season Pass is used up, but 10 might be a bit steep, IMO. I also wish we got more vehicles in the Pass since the game showed that there are so many bike slots in the garage. I would have also like to see an update to the full bike coloring that Evolution had. Anyway, off my tangent, I'm still definitely exited for this. Especially with this Unicorn because, and I'm not afraid to say this, Unicorns are freakin' awesome! Also, the Lnyx shooting a golden gun is pretty wild as well.

    Here is how it happens:

    - RedLynx decides to have more tracks in a DLC and we need more builders.
    - The devteam decides to use this also to recognize the top talented builders.
    - The level team and the community management team decide who we want to work with and establish a short list of players (builders).
    - They contact them to propose them a contract. (meaning: we employ them remotely)
    - The builders accept and they are added to a list on our servers.
    - Being in this list allow them to send us some tracks without uploading them to Track Central.
    - They send to our level team their tracks and the level team gives them feedback to keep improving the tracks.
    - When the track is ready, we add them to the official build (as an official RL track) in the career mode, with RL tracks inside the new DLC.
    - The UI is adapted to show the names of the creators (in the career menu and in the credits of the game)
    - Then the build is submitted to Microsoft/Sony before being released.

    It's a win-win-win practice.
    - Win for the builders: they are recognized and rewarded for their work.
    - Win for the players: they get more tracks in the DLC.
    - Win for RL: We get closer of our top community and we keep involving them closer and closer.

    Cheers,

    Hello,

That's one of the reason why even if you don't own a DLC, the datas are still in the build.
This means if you own the Awesome Max DLC but not the 6 firsts ones, we can still use the objects for the first 6 DLCs in the new one. It results in better quality tracks.
However, it doesn't mean you can play all the UGC tracks if you buy the Awesome Max DLC but not the first 6 ones.

However, there are objects that are proper to the Awesome Max DLCs as well. So, if a builder uses them, it works as for the previous DLCs.

But about allowing to play more UGC tracks even if you don't own the DLCs, we want to bring more flexibility on that but we'll explain that later.

    Cheers,

    Hello,

There is 30 tracks in the DLC.
10 of them (the Trials track done by RedLynx) have challenges, so it's 30 challenges.
The price will be announced soon but I have no worry about that. (it's more than fair)

    Cheers,

The Awesome Level MAX DLC has 30 new tracks:
    - 22 in the Redlynx VS All-Stars Event
    - 8 in the Awesome Adventure Event

We will also be including 10 local supercross tracks that are the original 10 X-Supercross tracks updated to work in local SX so total there are 40 tracks in the pack.
