always was 10 tkts for extra match, at least for 24 hrs format, so yep he's wrong.
Yes, I was mistaken about the ticket cost. My point was ultimately that they could do some fun and creative things with PvP to make it more interesting, but instead it's basically the same thing it's been since release. The only attempt at variety is blitz mode (which I enjoy).
How about some damn tournaments? A simple string of 3-5 determined tracks to put emphasis on consistency. How hard would it be to implement that into the game? It's something I'm sure every person would like to see.
Can you make a new season between android and ios so the ios players get showdowns with android players?![]()
Pretty sure that's impossible. It'd be like playing Xbox against someone on Playstation.Originally Posted by HyperDanger Go to original post
good point. hope it happens in near futureOriginally Posted by justinman114 Go to original post
The level of competition I've found is harder on IOS as I play on both platforms. This can also be attributed to IOS having almost 900k more players.Originally Posted by HyperDanger Go to original post
ios scores are way higher than androidOriginally Posted by curiousgrge Go to original post
Yeah, I do think there is an overall consensus IOS has a slight edge of Android when it comes to competition... that IOS "top 100" is "more aggressive" than Android maybe (PVP or otherwise). And I gotta think that the top 5 of IOS (Cass,Kartank,Ch4er0n,Oh_Price,mlagadms) is a tough act to compete with in overall track scores and WRs... But some older stats we had for showdown seasons showed that Android had comparable Showdown participation numbers and perhaps even a more rabid core group than IOS in other ways. In the Bunker Stats topic we saw this in the Spring Season a while back:Originally Posted by curiousgrge Go to original post
Spring Season
Legend Count: IOS=251 Android=257
Count of who owns The Shaft: IOS=153 Android=205
Count of who owns Waste Disposal: IOS=68 Android=117
Funny thing .... IOS had a ton of more active players at the beginning, but lots of people do stop playing the games after a while. I really dont think there are 900K ACTIVE players more on IOS versus Android; if anything I think both platforms have around 10-20K hard-core players each these days. Some easy stats to check IOS vs Android to confirm that:
(if somebody could give these latest numbers for Android please):
IOS
Current number of Legends: 15 (really too soon in the season to tell much)
Global Donkey LB count: 2287
(Check chip accumulation in the Bunker)
The Shaft LB: 541
Waste Disposal LB: 235
(had to skip Traction Tesground due to Android bug)
(Check player participation in Frostpocalypse over time)
Walrus Road LB: 188450
Container Grounds LB: 89595
Penguin Landing LB: 48270
Chopping District LB: 25817
Chilled Cliffs LB: 6164
(check tougher Tier3 tracks to get)
Grindhouse LB: 52717
Trash Tops LB: 14887 (last track earned from slots)
Quagmire LB: 12966
Someone can do the rest, but Waste disposal on android has 301, shaft has 512.
Android:
Walrus Road LB: 155069
Container Grounds LB: 80492
Penguin Landing LB: 42774
Chopping District LB: 21100
Chilled Cliffs LB: 3784
Grindhouse LB: 21589
Trash Tops LB: 4968
Quagmire LB: 3999
Wow, winter stats are almost the same, but those last three original game tracks have far less participants on Android.
Top 100 Android Score Range (minus 4 hackers at the top):
#1: 126,232,433
#10: 123,349,754
#25: 121,759,266
#50: 120,036,958
#75: 119,047,324
#100: 118,214,952
It is worth noting that many of us Android folk think that we are missing points somewhere or another, or that the LB is not accurate somehow. GTDave owns well over half of the top times and he is currently sitting at 4th, 650,000+ points behind 1st. Most likely due to score being added during offline play and never being added when connected. This may also be the case on the iOS LB for all I know.
