Connection timeout clarification | Forums

I recently added some android users from the golden ticket thread and can't gift them. I have received a bunch of gifts from them so far but every time I try to send one back I get the connection timeout error. I've cleared the cache as well as removed and reinstalled the game. I've also read through numerous posts but haven't found a clear answer. Is this still an ongoing issue that is being worked on or is there something else I need to do that I'm missing? Thanks.

I had a few friends in my list that gave me the same message, I removed them and re-added them and it cleared the problem for a few and the others actually fixed / cleared themselves after about a week !!

Now whether or not removing and re-adding was what fixed it or whether it just allowed those players to re-accept my friend request and THAT'S what fixed it.....I don't know, maybe I just got lucky !?
