    FAR CRY 4 infinite fail

When I got Far Cry 4 for free with my purchase of a STRIX GTX 980 Newegg gave me a free copy of the game. I had never played any of the Far Cry games before but after playing it for about 12 hours it was fun and I liked it. After an unfortunate problem that made me re install windows the game never worked again. It has been months and I just downloaded it again and it still doesnt work. When I try to launch the game I just get a Far Cry 4 has stopped working error. My PC is more then sufficient to run the game and clearly the problem is on UBISOFT'S end. Im being very polite about this as you can see but im almost fed up with UBISOFT games.

Problem started when you reinstalled Windows and you have the guts to blaim Ubisoft?

Update your drivers, Visual C++ Redist etc., verify game files and try running Uplay as an administrator.

Patu has a lot of really good points! This link is helpful for updating your drivers.

Make sure you are running the most current version of Direct X.

Also, you can try disabling your background applications to see if any of those are causing an issue.

    1) Go to the Start menu on your Desktop. If using Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8, press the Windows key and the letter R at the same time.
    2) Type in MSCONFIG and press Enter.
    3) Go to the Startup tab.
    4) Click the option to Disable All.
    5) Press Apply, then Close and pick the option to Restart.

If at that point you still have an issue, I recommend starting a support ticket and allowing a support representative help you with direct troubleshooting for your PC.
