Far Cry 4 - random nvlddmkm crash

Hello. My pc is on stock. I have Asus strix 980 oc by factory, 8gb ram na 4790 stock.
When playing Far Cry 4 i am getting very random app crash then display crashes ( nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered ). Its not happens always. sometimes i can play 10 hours without issues, sometimes after 10 minutes it will crash. Its very hard to reproduce. I am using all ultra details , soft shadows, god rays, Txaa2x, Fur. I played other games, they seems to be stable, no crashes. Only Far Cry 4 crashing with display. Is this related to my card ? I am using 350.12 WHQL drivers. I tried on 344.75 WHQL and its ok, no crashing. I have crashing nvlddmkm only with 350.12 WHQL.

Is this reason to RMA card if it crashing display driver only in Far Cry 4 ?

Try lowering some of the gfx settings, like Fur and God Rays and especially Soft Shadows and see if that helps. If not, try underclocking your GPU a bit to see if it helps.

The crashes have always been random for me -- sometimes I'd see several in one day, and other times I'd go a couple/few weeks with no crashes.

I'm at a loss as to what causes them. It seems like changing a graphics setting will fix the issue sometimes, but when the crashes eventually return, the same fix does not work. This has led people to think that they found a "solution" to the problem when in fact it's just random luck. You change a setting, it suddenly works, so you assume that that was a solution. Eventually, however, the crashes return, so whatever you did was not a solution after all. I tried lowering Soft shadows to ultra shadows, but thats not helped. Using 352.86 WHQL. Also i tested 347.88 and 350.12 WHQL and the same problem.
