Driver crashes, Resolution issues, FOV, and Fur

This is getting ridiculous Ubisoft. How long has this game been out now? I cannot believe these issues haven't been fixed yet. Besides the fact that There has always been a problem with The FOV resetting (I like to play with the FOV turned all the way up) or bugging out after getting out of cars, opening doors, and landing from Wing-suit flight, oh and the fact that your special new method rending fur on animals has always looked pixelated and terrible on PC. If you're going to include features in the game, why don't you make sure they actually work right before release, or at least patch the **** within a month. jesus.

On top of these issues, now I'm having problems with the game crashing.

For some reason the game always wants to startup windowed, even if I set it to fullscreen from the game options. That's a problem for people like me who want to play the game in 4k fullscreen, but who's desktop resolution is running in 1080. While the game boots up, it must reset the resolution 3 times, as my screen flickers like crazy during the whole launch process. The first flickering happens when the game attempts to launch in fullscreen (4K), but for some reason reverts back to windowed mode, then again this happens after the little annoying intro movies that I can't seem to skip anymore. Then it does it once more after the screen that says "Press any button/key", as it takes me to the main menu.

Lastly, the game has begun crashing my display drivers randomly. It only seems to do this when I run in 4K. My card is not overclocked, and is more than capable of running this game in 4K. Although to be fair, I believe Nvidia's latest driver (Witcher 3 day 1 driver) may be the culprit for this last problem.

Anyway, here are some issues Ubisoft, If any of these don't get fixed, I'm done with your company.

P.S. Trash your horse**** UPlay Platform. Forcing it on people is disgusting, It sucks, and causes problems with steam (which is actually good at what it does).

Hey, I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with these issues. Have you reported any of this via the support site? If not, please do so and be sure to attach your DxDiag.

Please make sure the drivers for your video card, sound card, motherboard, and processor are up-to-date. If you are overclocking, try running at the stock clock settings. You may also want to verify your game files.

Thanks, hopefully we can help you get this resolved quickly!

This is a known issue with Gameworks features in this game. NVidia broke them in a driver release much earlier in the year. Ubisoft Support needs to contact NVidia to resolve this issue as it is a driver-based problem.
