I shelved this game after only playing it a few times due to the horrible frame rates, I tried playing again today (latest patch of course) and it's just as bad as it always was, I guess like Watchdogs this game will never get fixed?
It's not like I'm running a low end system either, I have a fairly decent i5 (3570k) a GTX970 and 8gb Ram. Far Cry 4 runs all ultra settings.
I feel I've waited long enough now, you should be able to return these faulty games. Money wasted.
Hello Fitzsteve,
I apologize for the troubles you have experienced while trying to play. Is this in relation to Assassin's Creed Unity?
We would be happy to look into the cause of the issue if you could please open a ticket with our technical team. You can do so by visiting: support.ubi.com and then navigating to "My Questions" on the left-hand side. We ask that you include your DxDiag so we can take a look at your computer details. Thank you.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm sure I've already tried everything your support team could suggest, I went through all this with Far Cry 4 which was eventually fixed through patches anyway!
I managed to improve ACU performance a little by turning off VSync in game and using NVidia's adaptive VSync option, it's not perfect I still get some tearing but at least the game isn't as stuttery. Still not the kind of performance I would expect from my rig, I'm only playing at 1080p by the way.
I see, I'd be happy to take a look into an updated DxDiag if you could upload one to a ticket. I would look at the one in your Far Cry 4 ticket but an updated DxDiag would better help our investigation. Is it possible to open a new ticket?Originally Posted by fitzsteve Go to original post
