    Just a thought about challenges/awesomeness..

I'm in with the crowd seeking out the final level of awesomeness achievement, and normally have no problem with an extensive grind/collect 'em all sort of situation.

However, seeing a lot of similar names at the top of the leaderboards daily who are well beyond the required total it takes to reach it... is a bit of BS. I'm all for letting them continue on to show off/ improve themselves more, but at the cost of losing on potential diamonds is a bit upsetting.

I'm no game designer by any means, but there should be some way to implement in a separate leaderboard for all the level 11 people. Again, I'm an achievement lover, so this may not pertain to EVERYONE ELSE, but according to trueachievements.com, less than 1% of people tracked playing the game have actually 100% finished it primarily because of this one. That's a bit ridiculous.

Simply put, if there were either double points for cups, so my gold/gold or gold/silver days were worth 40 or 30 points, or all level 11 awesomeness was moved off the board from everyone else still striving for it. I believe an overall better appreciation of the game(and less trade-ins to game stores) would come about. I had a blast playing all the story levels and even the (at times) tedious invasion paintings, but trudging on every day knowing I have WEEKS of dailies and weeklies to do is just wearing thin.

I'm sure there will be some sort of responses to this, positive and negative, and no real action by any devs, but I had to voice my frustration and concern. To anyone who doesn't just see this as whiny *****ing, thanks for listening, and good luck to you if you're still in the same boat.

This game's been about for a year and a half at this point so, yeah, don't expect much from the devs . That said, yes we know its a dumb system. There's not much that can really be done at this point, so you're just gonna have to get over it. That being said, it certainly would be more interesting if there was some form of system where once you hit a certain cups rank, you 'prestige' or something which moves you into a new bracket with a more dynamic scoring system. Again, not much that can be done at this point, but perhaps there may end up being a third game in this modern Rayman series which might have an improved scoring system. *cough* Ubi-Mya *cough* *wink* *wink* *cough*

I think this sums up pretty much everything.
Let's be honest: the game is old and there is a small community. I don't think devs will do anything, BUT I'll ask.
About the third game, as always I'll say that nothing is announced, and as far as I know nothing is planned either. But just like you all, I hope there will be

    Hey, responses, nice..

I'd like nothing more than to just "get over it," but it's seriously the dumbest ongoing scoring/achievement based system I've ever had to fight against. Personal opinion, I know, but most leaderboards in games are just for show, not 100% completion. Guess I'll just keep carrying on, but so help me, if the next game has anything like this again, I'm just going to avoid it, even free GwG style, which bums me out. I work my *** off for my scores and the top people are just competing to show off daily.

Oh, if there's a chance to pass something on to the devs, feel free to keep scoring in the next game, but include an offline/single player way to finish everything so this won't happen again. Love the games, hate the over-competition of a platformer with fun at heart.

    Thanks.
