How about they extend the season length to 3 weeks that would give the more casual players more time to achieve legends? Or allow 6 free showdowns per 24hr period. What doesnt impress me about the 12 hours is how its limiting my times to start matches. I used to be able to play 24hr or blitz matches at 8-9AM, 11am-12:30, 5PM-7PM, and 11-PM-Midnite. Now..... I cant do 5PM-7PM (they end in sleep-time), and the end of 8-9AM matches conflict with family time. . . .

I see people to spend whole 25 days to loose to go down in ranking and perform instant legends with 40+ showdowns vs low skilled players. 12h period is fine for me. 24h is a quite long when you feel no chance against good players than waiting time to end. Maybe an option to forfeit the showdown so we can move on another opponent.
I like the idea of forfeiting a match too. Especially if you have a cheater although it may just encourage cheaters to cheat as it will allow them to win matches faster. Maybe have a report cheater within that option. RL should also flag the cheaters so if they participate in showdowns, it will automatically have their rank go the opposite direction regardless of outcome.Originally Posted by truonghai.vo Go to original post
Regarding the people intentionally go down in rankings, if they make it so once they achieve a rank, you're stuck there and can only move up, this would discourage that type of behavior. They can still lose stars but only to that ranking up to zero stars. This in effect would have more legends or they can fix this by making legends available only to people that finish the task within a certain amount of days at RL's discretion.
To me the only positive thing achieving legends does is to help others achieve it too. Otherwise, I'm just shooting for rank 4 to get an extra Donkey piece and I'm done. I guess people are still playing to get more chips to get all the maps and possibly for Donkey donuts.
