    Better Cross-Platform Leaderboard Suggestion

I think that it would be awesome and more usefull if the Cross-Platform leaderboard would have more than just top 10 on it, and if it would have the track leaderboards aswell, like with the website for Trials evolution, then maybe just top 50 or 100 for cross-platform on global leaderboard, multiplayer and single player track leaderboards for every track. i know this would take time to do, but I would assume that since there already is the coding for top 10 for each platform that it would be something that would be possible to do for tracks and multiplayer leaderboards aswell,

    Hello Sandholm,

I agree with you but we have higher priorities and not unlimited resources
So, we'll leave it like that for Fusion and for a future project, we will consider doing something bigger in terms of "cross platform" features as it's important to keep the community together.

    Cheers,

For future projects I would love to see a public web API with access to user leaderboards and track leaderboards including track central.

The community could then create what they want and have effective systems for running competitions, weekly HLC on one platform or across them all.

    Hi,

Interesting you say that! It has actually been considered and that really fits our vision. However, when we started to look at how much work it would be to get something usable for everyone, it was a huge amount of work and with the size of the community, it was not obvious there would be a lot of people using it, so we prioritized other things.

But clearly, it's something we keep in mind as we really want to give as much power as possible to the community.

    Cheers,

I don't think the API would need to be usable by everyone, the websites/apps that use it would.

Some pretty basic REST APIs to get leaderboards as mentioned and a search api would be a good start.
