disable notification sounds?
Is there way to disable notification sounds without disable notifications all together. Ive already turned off sound through the game but i still get a sound notification.
im playing on a nexus 7

Only way is to turn off the Notification Sound (Volume) in the Sound Settings on your phone itself.....This will still give you the Notification but with no sound when it does but then you're stopping ALL notification sounds across ALL apps ok !?
Unfortunately, as far as I know there's no option for what you're asking in the game itself.

Yes there is, I'm on the Nexus 7 second edition tablet (guessing it's the same for the first generation).
From in-game you press one of the volume buttons, then touch the little bell symbol to the right of the volume slider. Now the slider is for your notifications so just slide it all the way down. This will affect the notification sounds across all of your apps.
You can do this anywhere not just in game and it usually goes straight to the notification slider, unless you're in an app that has sound where you can change the volume.

I'm assuming that you're running Lollipop 5.1 by now. You can now block notifications by app instead of one setting for all apps. Go into Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> App Notifications -> Trials Frontier -> turn on Block. I ended up having to do this for Subway Surfers because it got so ridiculously annoying.
