I think it would be good if we were able to leave 3 comments between each other (one for each track) in the Bunker during each round, only short messages about 20-30 characters long, just so we can write a little appreciation to our opponents but nothing offensive, maybe even have about 5 - 10 pre-written ones to choose from (which would stop anyone posting something offensive) something along the lines of.....Good Game, Great Ride, Nice One, Great Round Thanks, Haven't Got this Track Yet, etc. etc.

Just a rough thought/idea as I've had quite a few matches where I've wanted to be able to at least congratulate my opponent because we've had a quality close match and they've only just beaten me (or vice-versa) by a mere thousandth of a second or the bunker has chosen a track that I haven't got or a bike that I haven't got many upgrades on.....So it would be nice to be able to say why my times are crap (lol) if you see my point !?

    What do you think ??

I did appreciated your post and you could see it in the first line of my post, so hey - I'm with you on taking this game on the higher user experience level, all the way.

    As previously wrote:

Yep, the constructive part is quite ok, and it's to be considered by RL, by all means. +1 all the way.

But again, don't presume you know how legendary forum members, contributors and in game riders feel and act. Don't just label them who made this game, and forums what they are now, as a whimpy children. Just don't. They deserve more and if they want to say their farewell, then it is more then welcome and no less constructive then tons of forum posting.

And once again, RL does not need the pat on their back, they are hardcore. See, I played the whole franchise on my xbox and now I'm on mobile. I think I do know how RL is making great games and I know they can and will collect all that we toss on them - that is one of the things I like about them. And if I'm poking them to fix the game - it is cause I love the game, not the opposite way around! I'm not a spoiled brat and I know they're not either. Few slaps here and there are keeping all of us awake and ready, if you know what I mean.

Just expressing my own opinion, not hating you or something.

Not at you, but just my personal reflection.

Let? They have every right to post farewells, and while they're leaving we all are getting the chance to salute these "old farts" that made us sweat and shiver when racing against them!

Already proposed to have PvP chat option with your opponent, but... seems nothing happened on that front.Still, it's a good idea indeed.

Trying to keep this thread alive!!! I believe it's something we should actively try to keep alive and be a bit creative.
Naturally most of the suggestions might seem as if they are not taken aboard, but I believe they are at least read and if there is good stuff it might just be developed in some time..be POSITIVE!

*sarcasm* (hope it's appreciated around here )

    So..what would I suggest..

    • A gift all button (I just started to be a bit active here and saw this in another post..still an amazing idea if you ask me)
    • More bike skins that can be unlocked on the lootwheel or by missions (the frost ones are greatly appreciated, my Mantis could need a makeover tough )
    • New Candy missions, I loved them, but why the hell would you give us 1 single one at the beginning of the Frostpocolypse and then no more?
    • ANBA should have a timer (I know it was suggested in the past but keep it alive..) and he should vary tracks more..it sucks to get the same track within 3 missions..
    • Showdown could be varied a bit more, why not include tricks to do in order to complete successfully? Have the opponents each chose 2 bikes, 1 track or 1 bike 2 tracks respectively (from a choice of 3 maybe)
    • Give more free showdowns when they are 24h long
    • Be a bit more creative with season awards..I personally like to get new skins but don't like to see the same one's show up that I already have..great that you make them available to players that don't already have them..but maybe do it through the lootwheel so we don't get "punished" for already having them..
    • showdowns WITHOUT retries..no ticket restoring, no golden tickets (not sure RL wants that :P) give 9 tickets, 3 tracks and 1 hour to finish or something like this...so not the people with the most GT's win..(of course it's not just about this..but sometimes it seems like it)

That's all I can come up with right now..I'll post any other ideas if they come up..
I'd be happy to see others comment/suggest their own

    Best,
    Retro

Most of these are re-phrasings from the LAST time we did this (yeah, we've been down this road a few times before....which might explain some of the forum cynicism). Repeating some of these things again isnt a big surprise since some of the issues are ongoing, and some of the desired enhancements are very obvious/popular. But you will find a number of additional gems within this older topic:

My suggestion: Modify the search feature in The Bunker.

Currently, it searches for +/-2 ranks for you to get matched up with. However, if no one is doing a showdown in your rank bracket, you sit there searching indefinitely until someone does start one hours later causing you to lose the showdown. For example, I started one last night with around 10:00 PM with the intent of staying up until 11:30-12:00. I never got a match. I woke up this morning to find that I lost the match at 3:00 AM.

My suggestion for the modification is as follows: If no match is found within 10 minutes, increase the rank search by 1 every 10 minutes until a match is found. For example, in my case, at 10:10, it should have extended to +/-3 ranks. If not match is found after another 10 minutes (10:02 pm) it extends to +/-4 ranks and so on. This way you are more likely to get matched up when you are alone in your bracket range and the few folks in that range are not playing. This would also prevent you from intentionally losing ranks without an opportunity to actually play your opponent.

    Thoughts?

We had a dev comment once that said it does this broadening of the search range already. Given enough time, a Legend can play rank 10, lets say. Not it may not be working any more (bug) or it may not be expanding as fast as we'd like, but it is supposed to do this. The additional catch here is... its Blitz season, and RL apparently doesnt do anything other than adjust the basic showdown parms for it. (which is also why we have occasional impossible Zudina missions in Blitz). In a normal season with 24-hour showdowns, your matching at 3AM would have been acceptable behavior; you still have hours to play. In Blitz.... not so much.

I guess what I am saying is,.. the core issue here really is that they need to adjust more stuff (including the search parms, Zudina, etc) during Blitz.

And I should have clarified. Obviously, Blitz is the concern here. The normal showdowns haven't really been an issue. With only 20 minutes per showdown, the broadening timeframe should be shorter as well.

I agree with a lot of stuff from these new comments. #1 on my list is the "gift all" button, but it's probably never gonna happen since it would almost certainly make the gift box issues that we are already experiencing even worse. When I hit a button like that it will try to send 325 gifts at once and my phone will probably explode.

The other good one I like is the showdowns with no ticket regen/golden ticket use. It would have to be similar to a blitz season with it's own rules. I was thinking about this last night. I think the standard 3 track format works, and you would get 10 tickets per track that are non-transferable. So basically you have to set your best time in 10 tries or less, and that's it. Put a 1-2 hour timer on it so people don't just let it sit there forever, and make it so it will end early if all tickets are used or it is impossible for one player to win, similar to excluding the bottom of the 9th in baseball if the home team is winning. This makes it more of an even playing field since people like me won't be able to literally use 200 tickets on one track while the other person doesn't have the tickets to spare.

Like your further inputs on the no GT/limited ticket showdown idea!!
I justput away the game yesterday..of the very little Blitz showdowns I am playing I got two in a row where the guy used around 50 tickets in the 1st minutes to beat my time..(tough it is satisfactory to see that he needed that much:P) it sucked as I was at 2 GT's xD
I really believe a showdown like this would allow for very crisp showdowns, because it really puts you on the spot to ride your best in few attempts!

I would end playing bunker if there isn't possibility to get few new retries with using GT, because my phone got so often the missing throttle issue... I would lost so many times because of this.
But the idea is wonderful... I would definedly play it more if the game/phone works perfectly!
