I think they modified it but the answer is closer to both losing than both winning. I think your win streak is lost, but you don't lose a star. I'm not sure what happens to the coins or the chips though, someone might know off the top of their heads.Originally Posted by argirisargiroul Go to original post
If you had one track and then beat his time on his track, that means you have 2 of 3 and he was 0. The blank just means that you tied on that track and nobody has it. If either one of you beat the 22.555 time, then one of you would have that track. Since you only need 2 of 3 to win, it doesn't matter if the last track is blank.Originally Posted by argirisargiroul Go to original post
If you and your opponent each have a track, and the third one is blank by the end, it means you tied. You get half of the chips and nobody "wins."
Edit: I can't remember what happens to the star or win streak. When I tied with Roger Lee I *think* I kept my star, but lost the streak...
Very nicely phrased.Originally Posted by weee99 Go to original postI believe thats true; since you didnt win, nobody gets full chips and nobody gets the pot (I think? Wish I had a pic). You can still move your losing chips into the next showdown though.
Some people have said they were unable to take back a track once it was tied.... like it was locked or something. But I have always been able to take the track back whenever this has happened to me. It always makes me very nervous though.![]()

I've send a ticket to the support, because of the bug with the Mantis....but I haven't got an email-yet (not even a auto-reply). Is that normal, is it fu**ed up (I play the german version) or what? O.o
Q7: How do I drive the bike?
Seriously, how do I drive the bike?
I started this morning to catch up on friends ghosts (now that I have friends ^^) for the outfit. I managed to beat the ghost of 9 different so far. In most of the tracks I find the same player as "easier target" for the 10th friend... But I am unable to beat him aniwhere, despite the fact that in almost all his records I have a bike with higher upgrade than his.
Which means I can not drive the bike efficiently, but some stuff are out of my understanding. Take for example a mar as straightforward as "The Cave". With my maxed-up Tango I can not compete with his not maxed up Tango. I should have an higher speed and higher acceleration, yet the opponentsghost is always faster. The same goes to all track where I try to compete against a "new ghost" with lower bikes statistics, I never manage to even come close. Which led me to think I can not drive he bike right (which is also probably the point preventing me to progress oo much both on the mobile version and on the PC version). I don't know if these things can be explained as it seem pretty "feeling oriented" to me, but if there is a guide or explaination on how to drive the bike efficiently, I would be glad to read them![]()
Thanks
Sounds like you just need to learn some of the more fine details about speed in this game, and some of the little tricks. For The Cave with the Tango, accelerate and lean back a bit at the start and kind of wheelie into the ramp, then lean forward out of it. This will boost you a bit. Play around with leaning and how you leave ramps and how you land, etc. to get a better feel for this.Originally Posted by DreamTheater01 Go to original post
To be fair though, you should use the Bronco for that track! Also, with Speed bikes, if you hold the lean BACK button and the gas while you start a track, you will go slightly faster than if you just use the gas, assuming it is relatively flat ground. All these things are tricks you just kind of pick up on over time. Race ghosts a lot, use ANBA, and your muscle memory will start to respond.
When I first started playing this game I thought there was no way I'd ever be good at it, because the buttons aren't even buttons, they are just places to put my fingers on the screen. Welp, over a year later I was so wrong I could play some of these tracks with my eyes closed. Once you get into your groove it will be all good.
One more question:
do the expert-missions from the ancient guard have an end? Or are they, like the ASKA-robot-missions, neverending?
My first experts missions were kinda easy, but now I got one, which is impossible - even with a full upraded Bronco the enemy is always faster than me O.o
There is a mission to beat the ancient guardian at the Great Wall track. After that, he disappears (which kinda sucks, he was a good challenge vs. Butch, Leroy et al who I felt were too easy).Originally Posted by Suckor1337 Go to original post
I don't know which track you're on, but for the most part I'd suggest using agility bikes. The Bronco is good, but I had to learn how to ride well before I could handle that thing...![]()
Thanks for your answer!
The last battles I fought against Butch, Leroy etc. were kinda easy for me - but since I got a bug and can't get the Mantis atm, I can't go on and can solve every other mission...
I just looked up the mapname, I'm stuck at The Arches right now. For me it seems like the ancient guards bike is way better in acceleration AND top speed, so I can't get a hold on him... -.-
