    Uplay Recommended Track Drop #45

What the heck is going on? Why are we doing Uplay Recommended on Wednesday?! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!

Simple answer, it is a National Holiday in Finland on Thursday, and we didn't want to make you wait till Friday for the drop!

Last week we displaced the Uplay Recommended to bring illobear’s feature to the forefront, but we’re back with 5 more Trials Tracks making their way to a console near you. Be warned, though, there are some tougher tracks in this selection.

Are you ready to see what’s new?

    -OF- Galatic Logistics by ObsceneFreak
I would be lying if I said that the high speed line in Galatic was not crazy fun. This is a Roach track done right. The alien-esque landscape coupled with the industrial theme and all of the little details that I could hope for are here. Subtle effects and animations are super well done, and that leads to an awesome overall package.

    Dock Days by VEGASTRASH01
You better watch out on Wednesdays, because the Trash man comes on Wednesdays, to pick up the trash… because it’s Wednesday. Seriously, though, if you haven’t played Dock Days, which was previously only on PS4, then you are missing out on not only a well-executed play on words, but also a fun technical track with some great touches that make the world feel complete. The dynamic parts to this track and the effects used are pretty stellar, and… WHAT IS THAT UNDER THE WATER?!

    ~Crossing-II~ by G SatchmO
I’m calling this a ruined bridge, you may not agree with that assessment, but that’s what the evidence points towards. There’s a good mix of flowing line and technical obstacles in Crossing II, but the biggest thing that catches my eye is the use of light and darkness to show off the driving line. Mr. SatchmO has nailed a look that isn’t often as well executed, and the fact that the track is fun is all the more reason to play it.

    Devil’s Island by ConfusedMuscles
Devil’s Island is an apt description of Muscles’ latest pick. Not only are there fire pits and an overall red hue that lends itself to classic renditions of Hades, but the track has enough difficult obstacles that some players who don’t frequent Extreme tracks may think that this was, in fact, dredged up from the pits to torment them. Super technical track.

    Pneumatic Requiem by EvelForknspokes
This is, in my opinion, by far the most difficult track this week, and I really enjoy it. Somehow the Forknspokes have melded together a mix of technical uphill, and difficult flow into something that is deceptively tough for riders to pull off in one go. We’re talking less than 50 riders who have zero faulted the track. It’s not for lack of trying, though. I put in at least 30 minutes and ended a little frustrated with myself and 9 faults on the counter.

Make sure to check out all of these tracks in the Uplay Recommended feed on Track Central, and as always, let us know which ones you are playing. Maybe recommend something, compare times. Have fun.

    Until next week, riders.

These look like some really great picks usual! I can't wait to play them myself. That first one looks very intriguing though, I might try that one first.

I was just wondering if there is not going to be anymore videos showing the tracks anymore?
As some are not able to play all of these, and hearing people's comments about the quality of them, its a shame to not actually see what they are like.

Thank you for the kind words guys Requiem was a challenge, and a labor of love for me. I hope to top it someday. Honestly, it all came together after a suggestion from my buddy Kid MPC. Hence the MPC in a crash area. Not everyone got the HD sequence egg. Maybe they didnt play HD? That bit was from the awesome Aussie, D2 Dahaka.
Cheers to Rude for the video link. Thanks man That's the way it looked on xb1 before the brightness update..
All the picks were solid builds! Was a great week to open uplay! Thanks!
