I bought the game a few weeks ago and had no problems logging in. All of a sudden yesterday I get this message and I still have it about 8 hours later.
What is going on? I swear every time I want to play a uPlay game in the last couple months there have been issues EVERY SINGLE TIME. You guys need to learn how Steam runs and fix your terrible system.
On a lark I decided to fire this up today after a long hiatus, and got this message about the "service" being unavailable. What does the "service" do? It seemed I could play single player just fine.* Does it award Uplay points?
*I did notice that I didn't have any hostage rescue nor hunting missions available either. Does it control those (can't see why it would)?
I am no longer getting this error when I start up the game (as of yesterday) but I completed the Dragon Slayer achievement and got in-game notifications for both the achievement and the 'action' with +10 uplay points. But when I exit the game I didn't receive the points for the action nor does it say it is completed (did get the achievement though). Could this be fixed please? It allows to load your cloud saves and save to the cloud as well, yes you can play but your progress won't be saved.
