Hello En0 or anyone at Ubi who is reading this.
Fusions tournament mode has barely changed since it was introduced last year.
No new tournaments for almost a year!
Are there currently any plans to improve this mode?
Either with DLC tournaments and/or with user content tournaments?
And why have the user content tournaments been abandoned?
Only a few times have i seen a tournament with track central tracks but then it was gone
It was such a good idea! Why have you not continued with that?
Could you be please be so kind and give us a definitive answer by telling us that its either likely, or unlikely that the tournament mode will be improved in the future.

Thanks for the post. I really appreciate it's a complaint that is worded in a respectful way, just asking for some transparency. I am going to give you some visibility.

There are different problems with tournaments. The first one being the incentives to play it. We wanted to add a deeper mechanic along the road to make it interesting to grind but we changed our mind and chose to focus on MP and to use tournaments as a support for some events (like "Week end tournaments" to win some swag or "Dreamhack tournament" to qualify for a live competition). We're going to use them more towards that direction (events and real rewards) with some interesting purpose (no core in-game mechanism).

We want to use more track central tracks for the tournaments but we have some weird problems for some players that seem to happen only in final environment. We're trying to fix it to be able to use reliably TC tracks in tournaments.

I am dissapointed to read that there are no real serious improvements in the works for tournaments. Tournaments have been a major part of the Trials experience in all of the previous games. I think that it is a shame that devs no longer seem to share this view. I like Fusion a lot but to me the single player will always have a huge gaping hole without the tournament mode and that makes me sad
I hope to see this mode return in the next Trials game in all of its glory!

Sounds reasonable enough, En0. Unlike most here, I like these tournaments more than the originals. In fact, I barely touched them in Evo and HD. Many preferred the permanent leaderboard, I preferred the rotation. I thought the original plans to include costume pieces was pretty good, and sort of hope that idea comes back, but if not, I'm not heartbroken. I think concentrating on multiplayer and your other uses for tournaments is probably the best way to go.
