    Wireshark Fail

So assuming you want data captured from the PS4, I will be of no help.
I can't capture data from my PS4, I tried a custom filter with the IP of my PS4 but no data is captured.
I think the switch is the bottleneck.
So it seems my network is anything but good to use wireshark.

    Thanks for your effort wosty.

Yes, capturing the traffic from a console is a bit tricky.

There's basically a few different options, all of them are quite complicated and/or requires special hardware. Here are a few that quickly comes to my mind.

    1. Enable internet connection sharing on your PC, and connect the console through that. You can then capture the traffic on the network interface that is connected directly to the console. You will need two network interfaces in order to do this.

    2. Use an old hub instead of switch/router. The hub always sends all traffic to all machines that are connected to it, so you should be able to capture everything on that. However hubs are very rare these days, but some people might have an old one hanging around.

    3. Some routers are running some Linux version(for example dd-wrt, OpenWrt, Tomato) which might allow you to run tcpdump(basically the same as Wireshark), by logging into it from a command shell. Some might even provide an UI for it.

    4. The same routers also typically supports port mirroring, which mirrors one of the network ports to another, so if you connect a PC to that port, you should be able to use Wireshark on that.

    5. It's also possible to do a similar setup as 1, with one network interface, but you will still need the switch/router. However that interface needs two different subnets, one for the external internet and one for the internal which is connected to the PS4. Then there need to be some sort of NAT between the two networks. I don't think this can be done one a Windows machine, but on Linux for example it is.

    6. A similar setup as number 5, but instead of using NAT you would use routing. You set the default gateway of the console to that machine instead of the router. Then you enable IP routing on the machine, and setup the routes (they are probably right by default). The drawback of this method, is that return packets will probably take a shortcut and not go through that machine. However this method should work on a Windows machine.

We have more indication that it's indeed UPnP that's failing.

But in order to confirm, we would be happy if users with the problem could run this program http://download.cnet.com/Universal-P...-10504740.html, save the results and send them to me.

You mean it has troubles detecting upnp devices (like a router)?
If that is the case, I don't think it's upnp related.
I do not have any upnp devices, except my computer and it's never on when I'm on my PS4.
I did the upnp test (check your PM's), all it could find was windows media player sharing. I got an error saying it could not make an exception in the firewall so I disabled the firewall temporarly.
    This is my setup: modem(only 1 ethernet port) -> switch(5 ports) -> PS4.
    So no router/accesspoint.
