    I think it does as good or better for ground attack.

    But the p47 will trounce the 38 at altitude.

    Jugs got much better high speed hanlding and is the king of BnZ. Lightning doesn't respond well at high speeds, so I wouldn't say its better than the Jug at what it does.

    I think when it comes to dogfighting, the p38 is more of a mix between an enegery and BnZ fighter. Jug is Pure BnZ, and it excels at that. And you cannot beat 8 .50cals.

    I like both, they both require the same fine touch on the controls and they each have their interesting traits.

    I find the P-47 to still be a bit better as a pure fighter. But we'll see about that

    No not really...Ill take the Jugs 8 .50s, Reliable Engine, toughness, and high speed elevator response any day....
