What do you think about the Gravity ??

Just wanted to get other players views about the overall Gravity in the game !?

I know they've made Frontier as a game and not a simulator but It feels to me like we're riding on the moon sometimes.....When we jump off a ramp we don't go up and down like we would do in real life, our rider tends to float up and glide down with a lot of hang time when we're at the peak of a jump, which can get a bit annoying on some tracks and jumps but other times it helps us land and do some of the crazy jumps that make this game so enjoyable but.....

Do you think it would be better or would you prefer it if they were to make the Gravity a bit more life-like and realistic ??

Name a mobile bike game with more realistic physics; more like what you want.

Name a mobile bike game with better bike handling controls.

Sometimes realism isn't "better" or even needed. This game isn't perfect by a long shot but In this area I have no concrete example of something better to compare it to.

I agree, I think the game is perfect the way it is. Sure it may not be perfectly realistic, but it's amazingly fun, and it is just a video game. I can't think of a game that is exact to reality.

It might make for an interesting game mechanic to have 'super gravity' or 'lightweight gravity' that alter how gravity affects your bike.

However, if you want to get technical, leaning forward in your bike won't cause you to do front flips, and braking on the ice levels would probably result in anything except the bike actually stopping.

I would agree that gravity is unrealistic in this game, but they tweaked the game to have extra air time and in air control to make the game more fun, and fun is why I play this game.

I totally agree with all three of ya, Whitechapple, xitooner & justinman, it IS perfect and amazingly fun as it is.....I tried to word my initial post so as not to be taken the wrong way but I feel that I might have !?

I don't hate the games Gravity and I don't want them to change it either, as I said in my initial post, "it's part of what makes this game so enjoyable and I know they've made it as a game and not a simulator" and I'm glad for that otherwise I wouldn't be addicted to it as much as I am (lol) I was merely asking for yours and other players views about the general Gravity in the game.....

Basically, I was playing a Showdown against a very evenly matched player so each track was decided by the thousandth of a second, so I'm trying to make every part of the run as spot-on as possible, but obviously, I'd miscalculate a jump here and there because my rider's hung in the air a tad longer than I expected and because of this I've tweaked his angle a tad too far and ended up either wiping out or landing too hard thus slowing me down too much.....It's times like this is what I was referring to and when I wished there was more Gravity (instead of wiping out and killing a good run) so I just wanted to see how others felt and maybe hear a few similar stories like my thousandth of a second frustration !?

To clarify.....I love Frontier (except the broken Gift-Box) as I said, I'm addicted and I think they've got the handling mechanics & game-play etc. spot-on and I wasn't asking or wishing them to change what isn't broken !!

Gravity is perfect for me too. And in my opinion it's far better than trials fusion where I dislike physics.
