Sound Issues/No dialog sound when main characters talk

    Hi,

Just installed Far cry 4 with the latest update and from the start of the game there was no or really low sound whenever there was an in game movie or any of the main characters conversed . I had to enable subtitles to understand the story and this is quite inconvenient. From the beginning of the game the into had only music and other game sound but none of the main character talk was audible .
If there is any fix to this problem please help me out with that as watching the campaign in game movie or video is only understandable via subtitles due to no sound of dialogs while the background music and other sounds works fine.

    Thnaks

It's possible that a sound file was corrupted while downloading the game. Have you looked at the PS3 Audio Output Settings? http://manuals.playstation.net/docum...diooutput.html. If this does not help, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

Xbox One player with exact same issue

I am having the same problem as dragonbreathXXL, no sound for main characters and I am reduced to reading a lot of dialog via subtitles. If I put my headphones on and crank the volume up I can just barely hear the voices. My install was from disk and I've tried rebooting my XBone and cleared out various cache several times, all to no avail.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
