Was forced to download this today, and the only thing I noticed was it got rid of a player I deleted weeks ago that plays on iOS, but it also removed any iOS people from my gift box (even if they are on my friends list). I have a relative that plays on iOS that I keep on there just because. I don't like this! Before, if an iOS player added me, the only way I would know if they were iOS was to try to gift them and get "connection timeout," which would then lead me to delete them. Now I have no way of knowing!

I think it should be changed back.

Are you still getting Forced Adds after every other race (Some players were moaning about them) which apparently came with the 3.2.3 update or have they gone ??

Forced ads after 2 races have been a part of the game since day one for me since I have never purchased anything, so nothing new here. Some are skippable though. I don't think that update had anything to do with ads.

Btw Fatal, I accepted your friend request today, but you still aren't showing in my gift box so don't think I'm ignoring gifting you!

Ok no probs, Thanks for the info and the friend accept Justin, hopefully we'll show-up on each others lists soon, as new players seem to be taking about a day to show-up on mine !!

Sounds like it might be true then.....That if we make a purchase then it removes the Forced Adds !?
(If you ever decide to make a purchase Justin, then could you leave a post on here to let us know if it does make a change to the Forced Adds or not)

As I've said before though.....I wish we could get it confirmed by RL or Ubisoft so we knew for definite !!

I actually think it's general consensus that it's better to not have them as "giftable" and have it not work. I really don't like going through everyone and getting notifications pop up saying it wasn't successful. It makes the whole process take a lot longer. I'd much rather have only people from my platform there, and I think most people think this way too.

Agreed, makes the process much smoother. Moreover it might help reducing the giftbox issues..
I also never purchase anything and I still have forced adds..but only for event related races..at least they took out the 44 second video...
The only way I found it possible to skip it was when my connection was not good (circle while loading the video) and during the loading to hit the back key..

Yeah, I got a forced update notification just as I was about to get on the train and settle in for a half hour session!

The only thing I have noticed is the trackmap is considerably smoother to move around on, previously it freezing up to the point I had to quit out and back in every 5 seconds, no problems really now though.

So you guys are saying you'd rather just have a bunch of people on your list that never appear in your gift box because you play on a separate OS? That means they will stay on your list forever unless you actually cross-check your gift box with your uplay list.

I don't see any reason not to have them there.

I fear the more that are there the more space it's taking up, etc. I dunno.

Hmm maybe I misunderstood..? It did not take them out for you?
I had only one IOS person in there and he disappeared..makes my life easier as I don't get the connection time out anymore..so for me it actually helped..
