Hey,
i got a problem with the new patch, everytime i try to enter mp it starts downloading some "usergenerated tracks"
this download doesnt end and i can`t play mp without it beeing done, I let it downoad for over one hour and all it did was to crash my game in the end.
Others told me that the download only took them 1-2 minutes, so i guess there is some sort of a problem with it.
Do you have any suggestions what to do to solve this problem?
Hi iBlubbil,
I saw that yesterday on Twitch, I emailed the team to try to find what's happening. At the moment, we can't reproduce but I'll get back to you soon with questions.
@M4DDMONKEY: if you can share your crash dumps that are in Documents\TrialsFusion\SavedGames, that would be useful.
Cheers,

I submitted a support ticket with the full dmp file. Is there anything else I should add to that?
I think I also have a similar problem ever since the patch. It still happens to me even after I removed all tracks from my favorites and what happens to me is whenever I go to online multiplayer it just sits at the loading screen forever. No crash, no nothing. I can't back out of the loading either so I just have to force quit the game to get out of it. I tried uninstalling and it did work at first but then when I woke up in the morning today it wasn't working again. Not sure what it could be
The exact same thing for me, although reinstalling didn't help at all. It's very annoying to say the leastOriginally Posted by Sokantish Go to original post![]()
Interesting. So I tried loading into multiplayer and it starts download ugc tracks. It only takes about a minute then finishes, I then search for a game but alas no other players on. So I back out of multiplayer, check out a few things then go back into multiplayer (all in the same session without closing Trials) it then starts downloading ugc tracks AGAIN FOR SOME REASON???, and this time fails with a Download failed error.
Thankfully, I know how to use a little program called TCPView, which I've used to workaround many download issues in different games. So let me describe what happens when this error is occurring:
Attempt to go into multiplayer. Trials_fusion.exe opens a https connection to s3-1-w.amazonaws.com (54.231.18.89) OR 54.231.64.233. From this connection it will download EXACTLY 9,365 bytes and halt there. After about 15 seconds or so the error will appear in trials and the connection will end with a fin_wait1 state and disappear. Closing this connection manually in TCPview will make the download failed error appear sooner. However, closing this connection enough times when the download freezes at that number fixes the problem, and Trials will start downloading the UGC tracks without a problem and let me go into multiplayer.
I also want to note I've seen this issue occur before in a different game (elite dangerous launcher). Where it would download a certain amount of bytes before stopping and then timing out, causing a download failed in the program. Again, worked around the issue by closing the connection as soon as the download stalled, and retrying the download in the application, rinse and repeat until it started working. I might suggest developers put in auto-retry download feature (as in auto retry after a timeout and set max timeouts to around 3-5).
Hope the information helps![]()
