Welcome to the forums and to Trials

A few answers I hope might help,

1. All current public mp tracks are in the general medium range,
This hopefully will change soon as it is about to recieve some changes.

2. Downloaded custom tracks are only available to play in private mode'
But again, soon enough will see the addition of some Uplay Recommended Picks into public rotation.

3. Favorites is a bit dodgy sometimes, I know it only holds so many? and can sometimes be random,
Don't have a definite answer for that one.

4. Front/back wheel tracks can be found generally in the Ninja feeds and will most of the time have this in the description of the track,
I don't think any official tracks use this style, only custom tracks.

5. Select race against this players ghost from the leaderboard, to go head to head with an existing replay (ghost)

4.I have seen a few tracks where the gameplay involves you having to control a certain wheel to a correct colour part of track....what map types are those? and are they custom made? ie...your front wheel is blue and you must land on the blue part of the track

unfortunately there is no way to search for these kind of tracks which is a real shame because these are the tracks i generaly like the most.
there needs to be a tag for frontwheel/backwheel and you need to be able to search for tags.
That would be cool.

3.Some maps I download and add as favourite from track central appear in private matches,but some don't....why is that? ie...the Wipeout 3 map I wanna play with friends but it wont show up in options after I have added to favs.

Is the Wipeout track you're talking about a skill game? If so, it doesn't work in MP. Multiplayer works only with Trials and X-supercross tracks.
