If I had as much dlc as you, I'd start it before I went to work and let it do it's thing. That way it would most likely be ready when I got home.Originally Posted by solidwhitemike Go to original post
Oh yeah, just for completeness's sake, I restarted my ps4 after deletion and before I reinstalled.
There is. Got to your library select RS2014, click download, it asks you if you want to download all your add-ons at the same time. Select yes.
The only thing I had to do afterward was tell the update file to install (it was already downloaded) in notifications. Most of the dlc was already installed, so once I told the update to install, I was playing in 2-3 minutes.

so, support replied and the standard response.
1. try another usb port
2. unplug all other accessories
3. try a different guitar
4. adjust guitar knob settings
5. disconnect/reconnect
I've done all that with no benefit.
Support also said that if I plug the cable into my pc and Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter shows up as a recording device, my cable is probably good. My cable shows up correctly on the PC.
So, given that i'm on an xbox and not a pc playing RS2014, my options to delete are not the same. It is interesting that uninstalling/reinstalling fixes the issue on the pc version, so i really don't want to spend another $30 to buy another cable when it appears my cable (treated with kid gloves, of course) is good.
I also can play RS1 effectively.
I've also recalibrated, etc within the game, waited to plug the cable in until the game fully loads and i select Learn A song mode. Any suggestions from the forum?
Thanks.
To be honest, we were talking about this problem on PS4 only. I hadn't heard of it being an issue on Xbox, but if you've tried all of that then maybe a reinstall might help you too. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell you how because I've never owned one.
It's a very good idea to have a spare cable. If for nothing else, then for troubleshooting purposes. I was so certain it was the game because I had 2 guitars and 2 cables, and it never went away.
