Still an issue on my end. I had to reboot the game twice yesterday. The USB workaround seems to work for a while but after an hour or so of playing the sound drops were back. After the first reboot the sound was still an issue but the second reboot seemed to fix it.

Yeah, it's been bad the last few days. It's even worse in multiplayer with both cables hooked up.

so, the problem has come and gone for me but last night, RS2014 was unplayable on my xbox. i could unplug my guitar and the scratchy sound was still bad. as soon as I unplugged the rs cable from the usb adaptor cable to the xbox, the sound went away. so it is somwhere in the RS cable.
It's not my xbox or my guitar because I switched to bandfuse and everything worked great.

I tried the calibration technique this morning, even adjusted the db's to -5.0 and I still get the scratchy feedback with the RS cable plugged in. It was fine over the weekend but now it's simply unplayable.

I submitted my issue to support.

Experiencing it a lot the last few days too.. updated the ticket. Was referred back to the forums... it's quite frustrating.

Okay this is getting annoying. I just filed a ticket as well. Hopefully they clue in that there is an issue here.

Okay so ubisoft support is useless as I expected. They are telling me I need to delete my game files and reinstall the game and re download my 500 dlc. Anyone had any luck doing this?

I'm trying it right now. Luckily, I only have about a hundred dlc files.

I submitted my ticket, as well.

All done, and the noise is either gone or imperceptible. Start deleting boys!

God! I hope it doesn't come back.

So this is a software issue? @DeityCAN, are you up for this?

Please keep us informed if it continues to solves the issue. If it works then I will go through process but its going to be a pain in the butt to re download all the dlc.

Were you able to keep your save file with your progress or did you have to delete that as well?
