Loot wheel doubling from outfits not counting toward Death Knight outfit | Forums

So last night I spent about 40+ gems to land on a 2000 kindling slot on the loot wheel because I want to get my materials grinding over with ASAP for the death knight outfit and that high of a reward is rare. When I went to check the death knight progress I noticed that I had gone from having 14xxx kindling to only 15xxx despite receiving 2000 kindling from the loot wheel that I spent a lot of gems to get.

I did some experimenting today to see what happens and here is the result. I have the double rewards suits for both kindling and magnifying glasses.

Experiments:
Kindling
I went fast through the track and got 0 kindling, landed on 400 kindling on the loot wheel. Sun god mission progress shows +400 kindling and death knight shows only +200 kindling. I repeated this twice on different tracks with the same result.

Magnifying glass:
I went fast through the track and got all 5 magnifying glasses. I then landed on the loot wheel 10 magnifying slot. Sun god shows +15 glasses, death knight shows +10. I repeated this three times on different tracks with the same result.

Coal:
I don't have a doubling suit, and both the death knight and the mountaineer show that I have 666 coal.

My conclusion is that the doubling does not count toward the death knight suit tally. I think this is unacceptable since I've spent hundred of diamonds already on this event and outfits specifically to get some effects that are attributed to the costumes. There should not be an exception to the effect for getting the death knight costume, and I suspect it's just a bug.



Edit: I suspect this has cost me at least 2000 kindling and 100 magnifying glasses already from loot wheel spins.

This is an interesting find. It's probably just a bug, and hopefully by reporting the results of your experimentation they can get it resolved.

I hope so anyway, because when it comes time to decide to buy my coal doubling costume or not, the decision will come down to whether this bug is fixed.

Edit: I kept playing and now I have MORE sticks for Sun God than I do counting toward the Knight. 16721/900 for next sungod mission, and 16621/20000 for knight.
