these winter tracks will be available after the month is over right?

Just like halloween they will have to make these tracks available some other way than a limited time if they want to have any leaderboard integrity.

question is does anyone at ubi have the nerve to let us know ahead of time.

I have to assume it will be the same as the Halloween thing. I didn't unlock any of those tracks until after that whole pumpkin king smashing thing was over with.

I think I don't wanna grind this kind of pumpking marathon anymore, once is just enough.
So I'll wait those tracks from loot wheel afterwards.

We got quite negative feedback from the community when we put the Halloween tracks on the Loot Wheel right after the event last time, so we are trying to avoid that mistake this time around. That said, we have not decided 100% what we will do with the winter tracks after the event. Obviously they can't just disappear forever to never be collected by players, not just due to leaderboards but it would also be shame to throw away awesome content.

Any suggestions on how we can ensure that players who earn the tracks during the event feel justified in the effort they put in, yet players that missed out can still have a shot at being top of the leaderboards and collecting all the tracks eventually?

    Suggestions:
atleast some delay, some 2-4 weeks "penalty", then...
    A) as a price of some other mission, daily prospector?
    B) add them to slot machine tracks? with some certain level needed?
    C) add to loot wheel.

Yeah I think a 2-4 week delay sounds fair. Then just throw them wherever. You are right that you can't just throw them out, it would ruin the leaderboard integrity. But all this grinding has to be for something!

Interesting to see swanny coming over here and asking for feedback (internet high-five!)

i think since you have 16 tracks you can take them and break down per four groups - take all track 1's from each week, then track 2's and so on - and channel them through different means - (1) slot machine (2) loot wheel (3) bunker? (4) ANBA? You guys should be able to figure this out, right? as long as different in-game channels are utilized, that should make tracks more available for 'quick' re-collection but also serve right purposes for RL (more in-game time etc)

Just my 2 kopeykas of advice noone asked for

What ever route they decide to take, there will be both support and opposition. The grinding for the tracks so far has not be that obscene, we will have to see what week 4 looks like. As it stands, I would not be upset to see the the tracks immediately added to the loot wheel or high level slot machine. The grinding we do was for the privilege of early access to these tracks. I could also see a 2-4 week delay before they are made available, mostly dependent on how crazy the grind for the last set of tracks will be.

I would mostly agree with bunnyhop, although ANBA would be killer for me with all of the time I have already spent grinding tracks to improve my times. I guess there is always room for improvement, though.
