My box is working now! \o/ dunno how long tho.

It appears the gift box has been tweaked again. I no longer have my iOS friends show up on my Androids friends list. Maybe that will help cut down some of the problems.. My gift box works most of the time. I have not check my iOS friends list yet.

My Gift Box started working yesterday morning, but 26 hours later it's back to the usual broken frustration. It's just not good enough.

I think my Gift-Box is working as I can send both gifts to ALL players on my Friends List BUT I only ever receive a maximum of 3 Golden Tickets and 10 Fuel at any one time (it actually says 3/3 and 10/10, sometimes less but never any more) but I have a lot more players on my Friends List.....Is this normal or is this a bug/glitch !?

Surely I should be getting one of each (Fuel and a Golden Ticket) from each friend, so 15 friends send me one of each, then I should get 15 of each in my inbox.....Yes/No !?

You inbox has limited to 3 tickets and 10 fuel, the rest will go to bit-heaven. You need to check and accept then more often.

anyway, GIFTBOX STOPPED WORKING AGAIN THIS MORNING!

Thanks for the info flooodi, I check it quite regularly throughout the day so as to try and get the 1000 coins from each gift for claiming within the hour as well, but that sounds a bit tight (Only 3 & 10) don't you think !?

So you're saying that if 40 friends send me 40 Tickets and 40 Fuel I'll only receive 3 Tickets and 10 Fuel and the remaining 37 Tickets and 30 Fuel is just lost/thrown away !?

So they don't sit somewhere (in a sort-of virtual cue) until we've claimed the 1st 3 & 10 then the next 3 & 10 in the cue gets released, this I could understand as an attempt to take some strain off the system to try and prevent crashing....Possibly, otherwise that's a LOT of wasted gifts as most people will have around or over 40 people in their friends lists, some players reckon they have a few hundred or more, So if 85% of the gifts are being thrown away each time then what's the point (other than having easier to find ghosts) in having loads of people in our friends lists !?


P.S: My Gift-Box (Android) was working ok about 20mins ago !!

It's all about the quantity of friends, and how often you collect your gifts.
I have a bit less than 300 friends, and I check at least once in hour. Usually getting full 10 fuel, and 3 tickets. Sometimes even once in 15min, and still got 3/10

If your 40 send the gift at same time, 37 tickets are wasted, and you are you of new tickets for next 12hours.
But with 300 friends, ( I assume not all gift at same moment ) you get tickets in quite often, through the whole 12hours.. so in total you get much much more tickets.

I have now somewhat 4000 tickets, and 350 fuel, thanks to giftbox working for whole day.

Nice one flooodi, much appreciated for taking the time, my GiftBox IS working properly then, your name's now showing on my list and I've been receiving your gifts as well.....So Cheers again !!

Hopefully you should be getting the gifts I'm sending you as well, I check and send my whole friends list as often as possible throughout the day and everyday !!



I've got one last question though.....I keep receiving Fuel and Tickets from someone that isn't named.....It just says "A Person has sent you Fuel/Ticket".....Has anyone got any idea why it might be doing this and if there's anyway I can find out who it might be that's sending them so I can make sure I'm sending them back as well !?

I've made sure that all requests have been accepted on my Uplay account and nothing else is pending at the mo either and all the players listed on my friends list have a name assigned to them, so there's no blank ones that might be causing it.....Strange !?
