Hello Frontier Riders,

Some of you may have noticed that your Gift screens are working, and they should be for everyone. That’s the main takeaway from this post. Gifts should be working for all of you, if they aren’t then please let us know.

We’re going to give a bit more information than just that, though.

We took a look at the gift queue and the information for gifts being sent/received is massive, as you can likely imagine, and the problem that caused this specific issue was outstanding gifts and their removal. To put it simply, if you have a gift waiting for more than a month, then the gift is tossed in the trash. There was an incredible amount of gifts waiting in the queue, and the tool that should have been removing outstanding gifts wasn’t exactly up for the task. We are making it perform better, but in the mean time we have manually cleared outstanding gifts that have been hanging in storage for more than a month and we will be keeping our eyes on the situation in an effort to make sure this does not occur again.

Shifty is there anyway you guys could fix the Global leaderboards? The scores are all over the place on iOS. Also, I have 470+ uPlay friends, therefore when I open up the Map, the App freezes for around 30 seconds to load all the friends up on the right side, maybe add a limit of 20, or 50 to the right side then if you want to load more, scroll down / up, since it always happens everytime. Also, are you guys aware of the App freezing for 15-20 seconds every single time I load into a track?

My Gift Box started working yesterday for the first time in 25 days. Unfortunately it only lasted about 28 hours. I accepted 2 friend requests via Uplay today and when I exited back to the game it crashed. After starting the game up again, the Gift Box was not working again...




Any ideas?

Not working here, It worked about a day, and now it doesn't work anymore. It stopped working last night, about 9hours ago.

My giftbox was working for a couple days aaaaaaand it's gone.

I have had mine not work a few times yesterday and today, but it seemed to be a connection issue as the bunker wouldn't load either. Usually it would start working again after a few minutes, or after restarting the game in a better connection zone. Every time it doesn't load it worries me again though.

Yep, what he said. I got it for about a day (probably less actually) and now it's broken again.

Usually when this happens on my Sony Z1 Compact, i just kill the game service on my andriod and boot it up again. For me it usually takes 30 seconds - two minutes after booting up before the gift box and bunker connects...
