If they needed to hide them then we probably wouldn't get 5 per track, making the grind longer. I'm ok with them just being out in the open.

Wouldn't it be more enjoyable if this were something like the process for unlocking the Dark Machine? Magnifying glasses hidden / tough to get that you only have to get once would be much more enjoyable than yet another grind fest.

    Love your Guide!
I think the data cube / search kind of task is more enjoyable... Less of a grind. Of course, with the combined searching of this forum, we had the data cube quest solved and documented within 2 days and I think they are more interested in getting us to visit the game regularly over a month instead. . . Enforcing that "gotta go check out frontier" habit. So we get this kind of incredibly easy grind that keeps us playing a lot over the day.

I am beginning to think that these days RL makes more money from Ads than they do from purchases.... Seems like every 4-5 showdowns I get an Ad, and I get them running tracks too. Maybe in the end that's why we have this type of quest; it makes us run the tracks and earn Ad revenue....

this makes a lot of sense, ads must drive huge revenues for them, pretty cool
also, i have to say it still sounds awkward to me - not once i have seen an ad in TF unless i asked for it myself - by pressing the freebies button. outside all of our lamentation re: F2P, these guys know how to make their cash. if only that customer support would follow... but that's another aspect.
