I have installed a new set of CH usb Pedals with my X45 and now nothing works. I set things up in the Hotas but still nothing works in the game the plane just sit's there , I would appreciate any Help at all in setting up these Pedals . I am using Win. 2000 with AEP. Thank You .

Hello ,heres a little update. If I remove the CH pedals from the usb port and run the game all my flight controls come back except the rudder function but when I Hook up the CH pedals The toe stop moves the stick, And nothing moves in the Input section of the Hardware setup. I am only guessing but do I have to set the control function to Default or somehow assign the X45 as Primary ,(I also have to add that I do Not have the X45 Software installed, Should I install that? )And any Help would be Appreciated .

I am going to assume your OS is XP. There is nothing you can do to assign the x45 as primary. Below is pic of my HOTAS with CH Pro pedals and x45. Included is my conf with each axis identified. I use Dhauzimmer/ Hazardscript

Thank You so Much steve_v for Responding to my Plea for help
... I am running Windows 2000 and I have Not installed the X45 software. I will try your suggestions as soon as I get a chance too. I have read many of your post on how much you like the X45 and CH pedals combination and I am very excited to get this up and running. Thank You once again for your Help.

The pedals are working with your settings steve_v ,
Thank You for your help on this issue But my X45 doesn't show up in the Hardware Setup input section, The CH pedals show up acting like the Joystick with only the Pitch and Roll input settings in there and they respond to the movement of the pedals.
Hmmm now what?

Post a pic of your HOTAS or email them to me at g8tr45@yahoo.com along with the [rts_joystick] from the conf. Once x45 becomes ID2, you hae to reassign axis in HOTAS.

Here you go that is my setup it works the same in 2000 and XP I've ran both.
This is what you have in config file when you have the X-45 and CH Pro USB pedal combination.
At least this is true for T_O_A_D's machine with Win XP Pro.
If yours is different then set one line at a time to all zeros. Save file then start game and find out which axis is now dead. Once you know which line affected what axis your on your way. Then you can tweak each line to your flying style.

Everything is as it should be from your HOTAS and conf. Only suggestion is different settings for pitch (1Y1=), roll (1X1=), and yaw (1Z=). They are currently set at all 100s.
The input section of the hardware setup will only see the pedals and is to be ignored. All settings at this point have to made in the conf.
