Not going to find many pongers down in the 12-14 range.... most of those folks just arent aware whats going on. With some exceptions of course, pong is unique to people on these forums and most of those tend to end up in legends before too long. even among these guys iits still under a 50% chance of pong, really....

The season just started only a few days ago though, there are still a bunch of peeps that know what's going on, which have higher ranks - at least for a couple of more days. Funny enough, I took ownership of the first track and crashed purposely 20 times - That made my intention pretty obvious. I wanted to try this one more time before I give up completely.

A lot of the dedicated pongers have already maxed out their bikes and amassed a huge collection of extra chips by ping-ponging so efficiently in the past seasons. While it's still nice to collect chips for whatever they will become useful for in the future, it becomes tempting to just start a ton of showdowns, spend a few minutes and smash times right away, and hope to bank your 500 chips in 24 hours. This way you can avoid putting in the work and time to properly ping pong, but still bank a ton of chips. Just keep putting the offer out there and you will eventually find the other players who want to put in the effort to get the extra chips.

Day 4, 20 Showdowns later -- Still No Pong Love.

I'm trying to do it in a different way now, by barely winning the track so the opponent has to step it up a notch and beat me, then I go in for a better time an hour later :-)

If I do it right away, they won't get any chips. A higher chip count will encourage them to keep trying to beat me.

BTW: Day 5, 25 Showdowns later -- Still No Pong Love. Even with players level 8 ~ 6.

If you meet me, just do 10-20 errors I do pong when pinged and could care less to win or lose now that I have it all! Level 12 or maybe 11, dunno as my 3 showdowns finished but haven't checked them just yet!

Edit: Level 10... will lose some LOL!

I'm probably missing something here, but isn't ping-ponging only useful if either a) you know the person you're against and you'll alternate wins, or b) you're so good that you know you'll win no matter what? Because let's say you're ping-ponging starting from 10 faults down to zero, thus invest some time into it, and in the end you duke it out - if you're totally destroyed, aren't you left with nothing?

Personally I'm just going for the chips, and unless I'm mistaken the best way to get them is to own the tracks as long as possible. So I'll do my best from the beginning, even if the other guy is clearly ping-ponging. Feel free to convince me to do otherwise

chips builds up faster after owner change... so switch every hour you can get close to 1500 chips from each showdown, and even when you lose, you get the 750, and the rest 750 will move to next showdown, no loss. The pot is rather small anyways, no point for fighting the victory.
