xitooner, to your earlier point about slower map etc. i recently switched to playing on iPad (an older one) and indeed world map and global LB is super slow there. I also thought it was due to update. however when i went back to iPhone 5s for day time playing at work, it was much better. I guess the updates really slow down the older hardware, not the newer.

Thats kinda bad news; I just did a quick check in the app store and it still says Ipad2 and higher are recommended hardware..... but this does give me a bad feeling. Maybe I can sneak my game onto my wifes Ipad Mini and see if it plays better, This older Ipad has been great for years but in the back of my mind I have always wondered how much longer it would be before I'd be forced to upgrade... the clock is ticking I bet.

just got a gift notification. seems the gift box is working again

edit: still cannot open the gift box but that gift notification was the only one i got for over a week, that's why it excited me

Not for me on Android! Is there an update? I haven't checked. Or are they still in Ninja mode, haha.

AAAAAAAND this is why I don't take ninja updates unless they are forced.
