Problem sending gifts - I can only gift one friend? | Forums

Hi there, I'm trying to send gifts to different people on my friends list, but every time I try to do so, only one friend is listed - this is also the only guy I see on the "friends leader-boards" section.

Is there a workaround or a fix to this? I keep receiving gifts from friends but I can't gift them back as they don't show up.

I think, i have the exact same problem: i see only one friend (in the friend list and in the giftbox). That friend sent me the request. Now i added somebody more people (from the friends for golden tickets thread) and i don't see them. I think, that is because i sent them the requests, maybe!? They see me, because i receive gifts from them, but i can't gift them back, because i can't see them...

Thanks for your reply, Zer0Chance, I have seen that thread. I am just not sure if it's the same issue, as those people don't even show up in the friendslist (bunker/map).

Lefty8, accidentally i had sent you an friend-request, too, which you have confirmed... Alas, i don't see you... Maybe we can try: i remove you from my uplay-friendlist and you send me a request? Just to find out, if it has something to do with the fact, who initially sent the request? My id: antimaterie2603

My gift box was working up until today. I've added a few people a couple weeks back and I can gift them just fine, and they gift me as well.

Today, however, I've added a couple more (by their uplay handles, I'm not sure if there is another way). Apparently they can gift me but I can't gift any of them. At first I couldn't even see them in my giftbox list, but if I go to options and uplay button down to the left, close it and then reopen my giftbox they all become visible. But I still can't gift them because I always get the "connection timeout" error whenever I try. Oh and I need to open uplay from within the game everytime I've force quit (I'm on iOS, 8.3 to be specific) and reopened the game in order to get my "new" friends to show up in the gift box again.

I'm yet to find out if I can still gift my "old" friends as the gifting timer on them haven't reset since I too got this problem.

edit: I also just sent a ticket from within the game detailing the above. Luckily I have a keyboard to type with - I wouldn't have bothered otherwise. I suspect people usually don't go into much detail that way because of frustration and having to type on a screen sucks

edit 2: Later that day the gift box stopped working entirely - displaying only the spinning animation. It's working again as of a few minutes ago, though.

I can't gift anyone anymore and only 7 out of my 20 friends show up..which sucks (I receive gifts from friends I can't see and I'd love to gift them back..) would be great if this could be fixed...
