How do i make effect fog stop reseting at the starting checkpoint?

My fog effects(not environment setting fog), actualy most effects that are like waterfalls or falling ash go away when i reset and show up again 2 seconds later what do i do? Also is there a way to make the fog effect stop dissapearing and coming back on reset or even better is there a way to make the fog show before the starting countdown? Thanks for the help. This is my first forum.

I assume you trigger them ON with an effect event. Go to the properties of the effect event and turn off the option "reset at checkpoint restart". If you do that the effects linked to that won't return to their previous status (off) before being triggered.

You can't show fog before the countdown as far as I know.

    And welcome to the forum!

I turned off reset at checkpoint restart option and the fog still disappears for a second, im using one of the big fog effects, its called "fog layer". I guess since it is such a big smoke effect is maybe why? I dont know.

Yeah. I forgot to mention that still happens on reset even when the effect stays on. I think it happens with all (fog) effects. You can try changing the environment settings a bit and add fog there so it's less noticable maybe.
