wouldnt it be nice if we could actually talk to a dev/support person here?

And im not talking about those times a person shows up for a few minutes only to never post again.

it would certainly make things less frustrating around here.

no offense to dumptruck but im talking about someone that actually works on the game. its obvious they check the forum so its not like they dont have the time.

I do give them credit for being pretty lax when it comes to allowing us to have open conversations that are rarely edited or censored on the official forums. I think a little personal involvement with the players and some honesty could go a long way. There must be a reason. It's almost like they treat us like the police, anything they say or do can be used against them, so it is best to say nothing.

Us forum users make up such a small percentage of their user base, I guess there are bigger fish to fry. Oh how I would love to delve into the monetary statistics. I can't imagine how interesting it must be to analyze. For instance, I wonder how many players start playing, get inpatient with the upgrades and spend $10-$50 to try and gain an edge only to get frustrated and then move on, never to play again. That could very well be the target demographic. I really have NO IDEA, just speculating.

Userbase is everything, but it works best if done both ways, therefore much more DEV involvement would be utmost appreciated. ANd official forums are the proper place to do that, aside having the credit and promote the game and the franchise furthermore, as the forum base is the top of the tops, not just simple "passengers" flock.

Current issue. I am your CM and we don't have a lot of Support Staff who come onto the forums. Previously (and with Fusion) we have people with more intimate knowledge of the game who are on the forums ALL the time. We're working on getting that here as well, because honestly, right now we have the Truck, NewRider and myself, and I'm not sure if I even count as I', not very well versed in mobile support so... next to useless.

I do forward questions and issues, though. And it takes a bit less time to read and ask dev/support to look into things than it does to do that and reply. It's not made the best user experience on the forums, and I apologize for that. Once again, though, we're going to have more help on the forums in the near (should be very) future.

We need some people between us and the devs, something like moderators but in direct contact with the devs
