13 rank and how many stars? i assume you're not in a series of wins already, or are you?

Yeah, I'm on a Win Streak, I'm Level 13 and have 3 stars on that Level, so 1 star will put me to level 12.

I did this from rank 14 a few days ago. Started 34 just to be sure (never can tell if there is a legend hanging around down there that might slow you down). But no... 34 wins in a row, and not even a single loss for the tracks; a clean sweep. Only 2 guys even took back a track with a plat-equivalent time, I think, and so a few retries and it was all over. I was racing my own ghost just because I cant stand to not put in good times; it will be a piece of cake for a guy like you.

xitooner, what iPad are you playing on? I assume the game starts OK for you after the update?

I have now upgraded my ipad (its a 2 or 3.. really old) to the new update as well, and it plays no problems.

each 'dough-nut' takes 100k of coins off of donkey upgrade costs. you start off requiring only 1 'dough-nut' for each upgrade, and then go all the way to 3 per category on level 10. cost of upgrade on level 10 is 300k (engine). upgrades take 3 seconds or so.
'dough-nuts' cost 20 gems

Fast upgrades? Thats cool (and the way it should always have been) Cant wait to start after those last blueprints come in....

I'm a sucker, spent almost all of my gems and 4.5m coins to get a maxed donkey, quagmire finished with 39 faults

It's certainly fun, thing can nearly flip in place and has no suspension give a all

I just got the update, iOS 8.3 and iPhone 6

It crashed a bunch of times at first launch but now is totally stable. I don't have the new pack available yet but actually have the soldier that had never popped for me.

I spent a good chunk of gems and got the donkey, it's fun, completely new leaderboard and it doesn't seem to effect global rank, it's also not apparent which tracks you've run the donkey on

Did you do anything to stop it crashing? I'm iPhone 6 and ios 8.3 and its just crashing after the trials logo. Must have tried it 50+ times now lol.

any clues on how to start missions for the tracks...? it'd better not be in the bunker again...
